Well that's your opinion a lot of people would disagree with you.

You need to realise that Floyd has beaten everyone they put in front of him.

When Hatton beat Tzyu and Castillo and remained underfeated everyone said Mayweather was gonna get busted up and used the 1st Castillo fight as an example and we all know what happened:lol:

They only stop being elite after Mayweather beats them.

its hard to rate floyd simply because he has the skil to fight in many different weights and his resume shows it...he clearly dominated his earlier weights as he moved up i agree the fights begin to become about money but who could blame a ANY BOXER for wanting to get paid well for such a damaging sport....people harp on fighters of the past but none had to numerous lucrative options as the fighters of today im willing to bet if they fought in this era...MONEy would be of big concern for most of those fighters and would play a huge roll in who fought who.

It's definitely not unimpressive. It might not be as good as his talent is, but it's still a good resume.

Floyd doesn't have the greatest resume ever, but its FAR FAR from "unimpressive".

COMPLETELY agree with the THREAD STARTER and COMPLETELY disagree with the dood im quoting NOW

your whole POINT is based on trying to make FLOYD out as having a IMPRESSIVE resume by arguing that the THREAD STARTER feelz that OSCAR waz not a ELITE win for FLOYD and because you FEEL that OSCAR waz ELITE you feel that the THREAD STARTER is a IDIOT and therefore his POINT is NULL and VOID

    however

i feel that the thread starter waz simply stating that OSCAR at the time of their 2007 fight waz slightly PAST hiz ELITE period regardless to the fact that oscar waz still dam good.

in addition i dont completely agree with the thread starter on second thought as he did mention something about it NOT being floydz fault that his RESUME is NOT very IMPRESSIVE.

my TRUE FEELINGz are that his resume is VERY IMPRESSIVE for any boxing champ, the difference here is that floyd is a VERY RARE TALENT so as far as HOW much TALENT floyd has i would have to AGREE with the THREAD STARTER as for how much TALENT floyd has shown us in the PAST hiz RESUME is really not very IMPRESSIVE when compared to other PAST boxing championz. it really is NOT. so i agree with the thread starter that based on how good floyd is his RESUME is not very impressive to look at AFTER the FACT

    however

i didnt agree with the thread starter that itz not floydz fault as i FEEL the reason why floyd is so disrespected by so many including myself is that he PRETENDz that he will FIGHT anyone anytime in PUBLIC yet everyone knowz deep down that floyd and his MANAGERz have NEVER EVER gone after FIGHTz that PRESENTED him with the most danger and rather alwayz went after the FIGHTz that on paper looked the safest. itz easy to disagree with this if you FORGET that we are all judging this SAFENESS based upon how incredable a fighter floyd is but the TRUTH is he is a incredable fighter and the TRUTH is all the fightz he took where fightz that i believe he had the most confidence he would win.

His resume isn't unimpressive but his level of opposition is...compared to other ATGs.

He has an impressive but short resume. He left too many worthy boxers standing while waiting for a chance to fight him when he chose to retire. In my opinion, he cut his legacy short and left too many question marks.

PBF has a good resume, could have been better just like Pac's. But so is the other ATG's in the past. Problem is, fighter's today dont fight as often as before, thus making it impossible to fight everyone.

The ATG ranking is flawed. If boxing today was the same as it was before, (15 rds, no mandatory 8 count, thinner gloves, lesser money, fighting 30X a month, etc..), there will be clearer candidates and easier to compare. But now, we have fighters fighting 1 to 3 times a year!?!, it may have been more technical with a little help from science, but OLD PEOPLE who happened to experience a portion of the "old school" will never accept the notion that todays fighters can actually compete or even surpass yesteryears' warriors, and people will never see who the man really is because boxing already evolved and too many organizations popped up.
