well i mean he is successful with it....so i mean he cant really suck if its doing its job....a heel's job is to make as many fans dislike you as a face's job is to attract as many fans and ontop of that they guy is like fourth behind names Oscar, Tyson,Holyfield, FLoyd....in terms of PPV sales...i mean....that dont sound like a guy who sucks at it...sounds like he is extremely good at it.

The difference is: actors & "pro" wrestlers are engaged in fiction.

When the **** did you ever hear of Steven Segal & Jean Claude Van Damme bad-mouthing each other's movies? Sylvester Stallone vs Arnold Schwarzennegar? Once Arnold stopped competing in weightlifting pose-offs, he stopped doing the immature mind games **** he pulled on Lou Ferigno.

"**** dat muffugga. I'm the UNO. Me. Me!"

My point being: This guy eventually acted his damn age, & he didn't have to get near his mid 30s to do so...

I have been saying this for a ong time now.

People pay to see Floyd get trashed in the ring. That expains the PPV numbers.

That is good, as long as he sells fights. But the moment he loses, the mystique is over. Nobody would pay to see his boring ass in the ring.

Let us not joke ourselves really. Floyd is a BOORRRING **** in the ring and only gays like the *****s enjoys watching him potshot here and there and cower in the corner of the ring.

Pacquiao on the other hand sells fights because people want to get entertained of the quality of his fights, the action and excitement.

these two do have a beef...Steven says Jean Claude's Karate or sum shyt is weak or girly....pertaining to his movies...i know i heard that shyt.

but anyhow.....nah...Boxing still falls under the Sports Entertainment realm of media. The build up to the fight is just as important now days as the actual fight....with so much money on the line...so i mean can you fault him? Act or no act.....this man has made a large living off this act or immaturity.....one that can support his Kids well past when he is gone. If he acts like mosley im not sure he is as big a draw...i dont think JMM vs floyd does that big a number.

i think if pac loses his mystique will take a hit too...you got to understand Pac has built incredible mystique tot he public as well because the whole small guy whoopin bigger guys ass persona.

again...PERSONA is gold in the media...sell that shyt...you dont think Arum see the hot streak in Pac.....however....two fighters who are capable of beating pac Mosley and Floyd....get mysteriously get avoided.

same can be said of Floyd too....persona are a mothafukka

Yeah, him talking about how he loves his father...which is why he didn't talk to him for so long and why neither had anything good to say about each other. Wasn't it Floyd Sr who said that his son needs to get beat in the ring?

Besides, everyone knows that Floyd Sr went back to be with Floyd Jr after his stock fell faster than Hatton against Pacquiao cause he had nothing else going for him

Anyone else think he's being a bit more ****-talking than usual? He's always cocky, but he seems like he's trying too hard to project some kind of thug-hustla image this time, and has thrown a few low blows in Mosley's direction. He could sell the fight easily without being quite as ... well ... twattish.

I'm beginning to think that young Mr. Mayweather may actually be a little bit scared.

to be honest i think he is amped because he feels he is competeing in numbers with Pac...i think he thinks this more entertaining then the 360...remember Pac and Clottey gave us a mild mannered 360....very good 360 but no trash talking....i think Floyd is trying to not only upstage that but also upstage Pac in numbers as well...i honestly belive the guy is just that kind of MONEY driven....he thinks in terms of money more often than not....no matter if its the wrong route.

for the record NOT CONDONING anything but i think this is the reason we are getting this overly vulgar Floyd.

Yeah but part of being a villain is to tell little white lies. His intention is to get under your skin and it's working like a charm. He hasn't said anything more disrespectful than the things Ali said to Frazier. When I watch the 24/7 show, like everybody else I see that he's acting like a spoiled thug. But it doesn't bother me in the same way it bothers most people here. Why should it? He's not talking about me or my loved ones. He's talking about Shane Mosley. And it's Shane's job to shut him up when they get into the ring. Karma will likely catch up to Floyd so I just have myself a good laugh everytime he opens his mouth.

    Pac already lost several times.

And even if he loses his next fight, so what? People can still expect the same excitement and action packed fights he usually brings.

Pac is like Evander Holyfield or Sugar Ray Leonard.
