Mayweather is a smart business man.

Floyd is always going to be criticized, that is the truth. I realize that even if he fough Pac right now, a win means "he waited for him to get old" and a loss means " I told you Pac was always better than him"

The truth is, a Floyd loss right now is kind of meaningless. He will be damn near 38 for his next fight... how many fighters, HOF or not, still were as functional as Floyd in the ring? Mosley slowed heavily by the time he was 36, Oscar slowed in his early 30's. It's pretty amazing. Haters will rejoice, but when they talk about his career, a loos at this stage does little if anything to his legacy (Opinions vary on his legacy of course)

and what ive said many times is...myself...and many other floyd fans here....we liked manny alot(and most of us still do)....weve been fans....but its always a lack of respect with floyd....first it started out "this guy will whip mayweathers ass".....then they try to make the fight...."oh floyd is so scared....hes a ducker and a chicken"....and that keeps on to this day(despite just as much evidence that the pac side is to blame as there is for floyds side)....and its just still...not an ounce of damn respect really......just troll after troll spitting dumb **** like "drainelo".....its turned alot of mannys fans against him

Floyd can take a C level opponent and convince casuals that they fought a competitive match. Now they think Mayweather is beatable and will dig deep into those pockets the next fight expecting to see him beat.
