Mayweather is basically Ali without the wins over Foreman and Frazier.

Brought together people of colour :rofl:rofl

By preaching seperation, by saying that mixed kids were all messed up :patsch

I remember Parkinson asking him why all races should not live together and he said animals like birds do

ali said that blue birds stick with blue birds etc etc

    Its on youtube

the point is that he man was racist and thought whitey was the devil and that the alien ship will land one day

    take off the rosey specs

he preched the message of Eleijt Muhammad or Farhkhan today, these people are hate figures and he was part of their group

Frazier and Foreman are no stand out's talent and skill-wise compared to Floyd's resume. We're not talking global fame here, we're strictly talking what skill and h2h-qualities they bring to the ring.

The classic fanyboys dream them up to be some überhumanly skilled unbeatable opponents anybody looking at facts rationally agrees that Frazier or Foreman were not any better by any historical norm than the random guys that Floyd outboxed over the years.

I can see you are the guy that thinks past fighters are no good, so tell me for example who today would beat SRL or Marvin Hagler since they fought 20 years ago they must be no better than random guys Floyd or some other today fighter outboxed.

Well if you or me were Olympic champions for our countries and came back home and be looked at as ****, slaves, no good we would be full of hatred and maybe fooled by some religious guys like he was, i think if he was so racist he would not stick with Dundee for his entire career. My view on this is that he was young rightly disappointed in his country, and that gave muslims chance to get to him, he doesnt feel this way as he matured he changed his views on this stuff, at least i didnt find any racist interview late in his career and when he retired.

No! Ali stood for something. He stood up against the injustice and inequality in America. Even though it meant losing his freedom, way of life, and all of his money. Ali sett out to fight the best in their home countries and has never had rematch clause in his fight contracts. Ali has never embarrassed himself or his race of people. Mayweather does not represent us and will never be a great ambassador for the sport. In Ali's heyday, every country that Ali set foot in he was recognized and respected except for mainstream America in the civil rights era. What has Mayweather done for other people that he didn't benefit from. Don't get me wrong he's a great talent but his boxing heart, lack of respect for people and the legends before him does not put him up their with Ali. Ali as a boxer, person, and a humanitarian and what he has done for the sport of boxing you can't compare.

yeah a lot of points there but the man was no good-will character as the poster and people in general seem to assume.

  12. Everything is different only things in common are Nationality, skin colour, great boxers, trash talk ( which is cringeworthy with floyd cause he lacks charisma and isnt as witty as ali was).

Boxing was so much more popular then than it is now -- so much so that I think it'd be hard to compare any current great to Ali. It is just too different now.
