Hes the best boxer i ever seen and its not even close (im 27) I think hes gotta be in at least the top 15-20. people will try to take him down with supposed people he didnt fight but the fact of the matter is hes landing at 40% all the time and only getting hit 20% of the time against top level competiton! Like thats ridicilous!! One of the fasets boxers ever and hes top 5 defesive fighter ever. that total package has him top15-20
Oh theres a few bro. if we going from Era to Era. SRL and heanrs would be slight favorites over Mayweather. i think Mayweather could get those wins but it would be tough. slighht favorite like -150 Mayweather +130 theres some for sure but Mayweather is truly one of the best
yes this is true and Mayweather is probably the best 130lb ever! But u said All Time and if were going All time then hes in the top 15-20
I just wished he had not of wasted 2 years of his prime 'retiring' while there were amazing fights to made instead leaving it until all we get are fights where the opponent has a 1 in 20 chance
in terms of his greatness in his prime hes easily top5 for me the fact that you'd need to drag him up 2 weight classes to get someone favored to beat him speaks a lot
I don't now nor ever have seen why anyone could think that. Being the bigger guy is all good and well but if you fight like Canelo plodding around the ring Floyd will just take you to a 12 round decision. You have to at least use your size like De La Hoya and Cotto tried to do. Imagine his legacy now if he had fought just Margerito, Mosley and Pacquiao in that timeframe. It would be beyond dispute that he had faced everyone there was who was a legitimate threat. Instead we will always just have to guess/predict or assume would could of been or what would of happened in those fights.
The problem I have with Mayweather is the level of his comp. I would have loved to see him fight a prime Oscar who gave him everything he could handle at 154, a prime SSM, or a prime Pac. Sadly this isn't going to happen and you're left with gauging his talent against class B or B+ fights. As things stand right now I could see him about top 15 and he could potentially crack the top 10 but I don't think he will. He has the skills to do it, but he just doesn't have the comp.
The odds are based on what people put their money on, not the statistics of a particular outcome happening. Cotto applied far more pressure on Floyd than Canelo did, as evident by the state of Floyds face
