My point is that he wasted 2 very important years where there was opposition that would have cemented without a doubt his legacy and where he stands. Because we didn't get those fights we have to make do with the poor opposition that remains. It's not Floyds fault that this is the best there currently is but in retrospect he shouldn't have missed out on those years.
since when does a fighter like williams who has zero ring iq and defense make a fighter's resume!? whatd it do for quintanas lol
you are the ***** who wants no part of triple G a top 5 ATG woulD take that fight and kick ass think Duran a real top 10 ATG vs Barkley
There's been lots of boxers who have done this. Duran did it, going up to middleweight, Jones did it, starting at 154 and going to heavy. Hearns went all the way up to Cruiserweight. Greb fought Tunney, SRR went from welter to fight a light heavyweight and on and on it goes.
He really shouldn't be number 1 on anyone's list, except perhaps calling him number one out of the current fighters.
Exactly and you can't just keep looking great fighting B to B+ level fighters and expect to go up the ladder to being the best of all time it doesn't work that way.
