I mean I don't even know why i answer some of these posters, they're obviously misinformed or are just plain uneducated when it comes to boxing.

If people really want to know how great FLoyd Mayweather is, than I have one statistic that trumps all the rest:

In 1998, he fought 7 or 8 times that year, including the great Genaro Hernandez who was widely considered one of the greatest Super Featherweights of all time- he went into his bout with FLoyd undefeated at 130 lbs. That year Mayweather was named the BWAA fighter of the year. This is in 1998.

He just won the BWAA fighter of the year in 2013. That's a 15 YEAR span between his 2 awards. Can anyone name to me just ONE fighter in the history of the sport that has achieved this feat? Was there ever one fighter to win fighter of the year twice in a 15 year timespan? Not even the great RAY Robinson achieved such an astronomical feat. If that doesn't signal longevity and greatness, than I don't know what does.
