"Mayweather Is Hiding a China Chin Behind That Shoulder Roll, Mosley Will Find It"

As we all saw in the Homer Simpson and Drederick Tatum fight, someone having a little brain is incredibly hard to knockout.

Floyd Mayweather in that regard will be invincible.

Iv'e seen mayweather take some pretty solid shots. China it is not. But I'll guess we will find out May 1st.

Floyd has shown to have an excellent chin and great recuperative powers.

 

Cotto boxed Shane enough and Shane couldn't get him out of there... Floyd is too good for that!

 

I am not sure Mosley will find a weak chin. He is not a huge puncher.

 

if mosley kos floyd it will be like vargas with one punch ending it. Floyd has a masters degree in protecting that china chin.

 

Even if he does get knocked out in the fight, he doesn't have a china chin. He's proved it before... the man can take a good shot and barely be phased.

 

no way Floyd has a China chin, he's taken some pretty hard shots and either he recovered really quickly (as in the case with corley) or just shrugged them off.

To what extent his chin is solid though hasn't really been tested yet as he has yet to take on a succession of hard shots...

 

There are definitely still questions about Floyd's chin. He's been hit every so often but never taken some real punishment.

He did get stunned by Corley, Judah, and even Emanuel Augustus. I think his chin is probably average at best. He seems to look very uncomfortable when he's getting punched. There's probably a good reason he's on his bike so much at welterweight. At the lower weight classes he would really stand toe to toe and put punches together. Now it's just potshot and run, kinda like a past prime Roy Jones.

I don't think Shane has the tools or the skill to find Floyd enough to knock him out though (I hope I'm wrong). I think if Floyd ever fights Pacquiao his chin will really get tested.

 

That's comical. If Floyd's chin was only average, he wouldn't be undefeated. He's been tagged solidly in the past by sharp punchers. He's beyond the stage of having to prove his punch resistance.

 

He's been tagged very rarely clean. Roy Jones was tagged in his prime just as often as Floyd has been up to this point. That didn't tell us much though did it?
