    However, as an explanation for the uneducated...

    Africans and their decendants built the United States through their labor. So, to call a person African in no way divests them from their Americaness. Any more than calling someone Irish would. (BTW, you know Africa is a continent, right?)

    The Irish have no part in Mexican history, thus the power of the taunt and why it will cause Canelo to have anger issues during the bout.

    Of course Canelo is Mexican. Floyd knows this, thus the insult.

    It is well known that both Canelo and his trainer Chepo have Irish in them. Mexicans try and cover this up.

    Africa is a continent. Not a race, or nationality! You wouldn't call an Egyptian/Indian, or an Ethiopian African now would you? Africa is they only continent not indigneous to one skin color. Which is why the whole "African American" thing is bullsh!t. We are the only ones who are truly "American" because, America was built on slave labor from day 1. We are the only race that didn't migrate here. We have no idea who we really are pre slave trade. So what your saying if ignorant. and direspectful

    floyd isn't gonna even fight in the manner to get him a 5th rd ko over canelo.doesn't punch like that either.

    Well Floyd was respectful until Oscar called Alveraz the biggest boxing star then Floyd went out of his way to bash Canelo.

    I don't know, Canelo looked cool as could be at the weigh-in, it was Floyd who was smacking on his gum all hard to keep his teeth from chattering after seeing Canelo make 152 easier than expected.

    i was also surprised to see Floyed left hanging when Canelo flung his hand away and didn't allow him to control the weigh-in. i saw Floyd as being a little uneasy there for a min. Not something I'm used to seeing at a Floyd weigh-in.

    Regardless, tomorrow both fighters will be focused and ready. Canelo is not a mental midget like Ortiz, at least I have not seen signs of this. Floyd has seen it all, and is the craftier one. I'm still going with Floyd by UD, mainly because is see him surprising Canelo early with his speed, reflexes, and accuracy. But do not see Floyd KO'ing him mainly because he will not be sitting on his punches, but moving while firing.

    By the time Canelo figures Floyd out or finds something that is working he will be too gassed to catch Money. But this is such an unforgiving sport, that any little mistake can cause on the get KTFO!
