    He isn't retiring

He loves the money too much ! He may not like fighting anymore but money wins. Where else can he make 30 million min every 6 months? No where and the guys spends like he's a billionaire and without that income his lifestyle isn't going to continue.

Mayweathers love and pursuit for more money will be his downfall :hey

Who gives a **** if he loses now?

    He's done it all.

He's 39 years of age, even if he loses 5 in a row, it does nothing to dent his legacy. :nod

His journey is already over in my eyes, all that can happen is if he can keep adding to it. If he can't, then so be it. If he can, great!!!

Hey if I got 100 Mill to run and put on a dull match twice a year, I'd milk that s*** for as long as I could.

Nope it will effect his legacy no matter what Mayweather still looks like he is in his prime he has not slipped that much.

The fact is if he does fight on and loses it will have a effect thats just the way people will see it ultimately.

    Erm no.

But I'm glad you agreed that Pacquiao losing to Mayweather (His biggest rival) did deter his legacy a good margin.

It was the most important fight of his life and he lost.

That's how history will see it. :yep

Well anyways, off to bed with me. TTYL!!!

If the accounts from his former assistants book are true he burns through 100k petty cash per day.

That's outside of salaries, houses, jet fuel, jet maintainence, hotel bills and **** knows what else.

That means that, at the most conservative estimates, he is spending between 3 and 5 million dollars per month, assuming the latter 60 million dollars per year.

He will be broke ( at least relative to his current status ) within a decade of his last fight. And I mean his last fight, which will doubtless be some time after his upcoming retirement.

I personally don't think he wants to fight anymore. I think he's worn out.

When did i agree to that?

The fight really had no relevance it was just great for business you know it and i know it.

The fight should of taken place back in 2009 when Pac was prime but Mayweather opted to duck him this will always be seen as a duck from Floyd.

Mayweather gets virtually no credit in getting the nod over a guy who was brutally knocked out cold couple fights before and being one armed.:yep

it's time thurman and brook elimination and winner takes floyd or floyd takes all of them>thurman, brook, pac rematch, bradley. khan, mayfield, berto, et al are just levels below them.
