That sounds about right. Mayweather would probably have had to settle for points and I like to think he might have got a bit more roughed up himself.
You're a ****ing idiot who doesn't know the sport. PBF was already an ATG with what he did at 130 and 135 everything else he accomplished was icing on the ****ing cake dumbass.:deal Name me a fighter who is undefeated won 5 titles at 5 weights linear in 3 P4P #1 for 3 years P4P top 10 for 10 years and Ring Fighter of the Year for 1998 and 2007 that aren't considered ATGs:deal. If PBF isn't an ATG then neither are EM, MAB, Tito, Hopkins, Calzaghe, RJJ, Pac or Oscar.:hi: The bottom line is you're an irrational hater incapable of looking at PBF the boxer because you can't stand his personality or the fact he beat most fo your favorite fighters and people like you need to banned because you spam the board with this type of nonsense.
Do you really need to harp on about ringposts every other post just to justify the ability of FMJ?? No, I didn't think so either.atsch
A few questions dumbass: 1) Name me one ATG that retired at the age of 30 leaving so many challenges behind him? 2) If Mayweather lost to Castillo, how do you think he would have done against the 2 ATG Chjavez and Duran? 3) World titles and different weight classe are overrated thsese days.Back in the day it meant something but not now with all theses organisations. Bottom line you are gayweather fan and I am an objective fan.
Sugar Ray Leonard Mayweather beat Castillo Winning a major title in 5 different weight classes is still impressive. Many fighters can't even be effective in two divisions How can you call yourself objective when you refer to someone as Gayweather? That doesn't sound too objective.
True. An elite fighter should! be capable of going up in weight and defeating weaker champions from that weight class. Look at Pac v Diaz. Pea would of whipped Mayweather in his prime.
He retired young true , but he'd been fighting his entire life ( more or less ) I think he's probably getting a bit sick of the lifestyle Close as Castillo came , he didnt beat him , the first fight is debatable but Mayweather was injured , he handled Castillo fairly easily in the rematch, I've watched both fights many times and much as I would have liked to see Mayweather lose , for me and for the judges he didnt ! Belts and weight class moves are easier , but below welter weight who do you think would have beaten him that he avoided ?
Handled him? you mean run away from him. Thats what Floyd does when he cant stay in the pocket he gets on his bike and runs he did it with Jesus Chavez then came on when Chavez got tired.
You're not objective you're a ****ing idiot. Make A case for the rest of those fighters I mentioned as to why they should be ATGs and PBF shouldn't? I'll answer it for you you can't? BTW who gives a **** that you feel he left many challenges at 147. What part of PBF was already an ATG before he touched the WW divison doesn't your hate filled mind understand? 147 didn't make or break PBF it could only enhance him.:deal Also the last time I checked PBF was 2-0 against JLC he didn't lose to him, deal with it.:hi:
i think mayweather is one of the true greats. he ticked all the boxes. great speed. great fundamentals. great stamina. fight inside and out. tough. it's a shame he packed it in after the hatton fight. but margarito lost twice to daniel santos. just remember that when people slate mayweather so much for not fighting him. :yep
I meant handled him as in beat him and fairly comfortably He realised Castillo was stronger than he was but that his footwork and boxing skills werent as good so he fought the best way to win , which is what mayweather does. You dont go and stand in fornt of a puncher , you dont let a pressure fighter trap you.
Mayweather is not tough. Please give me a typical example of Floyd showing toughness. Floyd took a knee against Judah or C Hernandez when his hand was hurt and he was nearly crying in the corner , becuase of it. Toughness is Arturo Gatti knocking out Daamgard with a bad or broken hand. mayweather's toughest fight was Emanuel Burton and it was not really a tough fight imo. Im not a big fan of Hatton, but his fight with Tackie dwarfs Mayweather's with Burton easily for toughness. Id give Mayweather cred for that if he were tough, but i dont believe he had showed that. Pernell Whitaker,Toney are are underrated tough fighters, but not Floyd.
Exactly! But I guess PBF should just fight another man's fight just to please these haters.:-( It would be like asking Margo to stick and move for the whole fight just to prove he could box and be successful.atsch
