Exactly , but thats pat of why Mayweather isnt as popular as he should probably be. Blame the rocky movies !
the judah knockdown was a simple case of being knocked off balance by a punch. hardly the sort of knockdown that makes u doubt his toughness. :nono
Thats true, but great fighters would sit down on their punches on occasion to to let people know that were not just running away. That is how you end up with people leaving the arena when he Floyd fought Badly.
The man has never really been knocked down or really hurt in the fight has fought on numerous occasions with broken hands a bad shoulder but you're questioning his toughness???:-( But prop up a bum like Gatti who PBF absolutely schooled in one of the best clinics in boxing history. Seems like to me PBF was the tougher man that night.:hi: I recall Gatti crying to the ref after PBF knocked his ass down.:deal Just because he doesn't stand and trade doesn't mean you're not tough. People really need to let that **** go because they obviously have never been in the ring before.
It was the Hernandez fight im referring too then i could not remember which one of those two fights it was. Im still waiting for an answer ?
hes the best of HIS generation but i dont think he's worthy of being mentioned alongside leonard, duran, hearns etc...
Give me an expample then instead of frowning about it. Gatti had every right to complain the referee reacted like he was about to step in then stopped at the last second which gave Floyd the opportunity to hit him. Please you are not seriously trying to tell me Gatti is not tougher than Floyd
Scotland my man , its like England but better and you would be surprised I think if you asked most British boxing fans who the best fighter of the last 10 years was Mayweather or Jones would likely come top or damn near it.
He didn't take a knee in that fight. He bent over and shook his hand and it touched the canvas. He then went on to fight the rest of that fight pretty much one handed and won a relatively wide margin. He injured his shoulder a couple days prior to the Castillo fight and injured his ribs during that fight. He still stood toe to toe with Castillo at the end of the fight when he knew he needed those rounds. Mayweather has done nothing that would put his toughness into question.
I sure am. How many times has PBF been stopped? How many times has PBF been knocked down. How many wins does PBF hold over Gatti? I rest my case.:hi:
What the difference im trying to point out he took a count, because he could not take the pain. He stood toe to toe at the end, bcause Roger told him to go flat footed, because he thought he was behind.
I hear what you're saying but thats part of Mayweathers make up , he doesnt really care about the blood lust fans , he wants to beat the guy in front of him and will use the best tactics availbale to him to do that. It doesn't make him exiting too watch most times but if its not thrilling its at least a joy to watch the skills.
Mayweather wins fights with skills not toughness, heart, aggression if that was the case he would'nt have got by Hatton, because Hatton is waay tougher than him.
Man just stop it. You're starting to sound desperate. He beat Hernandez with one hand what more do you want?
