Bill Butcher is a great poster. Floyd has zero case though...that's obvious.

  4. if he had more wins over tough opponents, more people (myself included) would consider him the greatest ever. but pacquiao is doing great things.

He probably has one of the best skillsets ever, but as far as legacy goes, he never fought enough 50/50, 60/40 (in their favour)fights against the best fighters he could conceivably fight, not in the latter part of his career anyway.

    Manny has zero case

Floyd agreed to ALL of his demands.

Pac has done nothing to make this fight..

oscar's right about something - he does have the skills, the talent and the work ethic.

to be the greatest of all time?
only floyd can lend wright to that. and we all know what he has to do to score a deserved mention there.

there's no doubt at all he's a great fighter, none at all, and even though the huge amount of money combined with the individual and greedy federations (which fragment boxing and allow fighters to 'cherrypick') change the way a fighter and his promoter go about their careers - there is no excuse for floyd not to square off against pacman.

..especially after all the bull**** floyd has said to build himself up throught his career.

a fighter who wants to even hint he is the greatest of all time does not back out of a fight with another great fighter like he has so far.

Neither of them have a case, but Pacquiao is infinitely greater than Floyd.

As far as head to head goes, he's one of the best, no doubt in my mind. It's just kinda strange coming from DLH who fought a very competitive fight with him being past his prime.

    Tough opponents like who?

    :think

Surely you don't mean Cotto and Margarito:lol:

Manny is not doing great things...he's doing what you accuse Floyd of.....no taking tough fights.
