Yeah, I even gave him an example as to why I would blame Mayweather. I just wanted a straight answer for what I asked. I really don't see why people don't understand that GBP booked May 5th on behalf of Mayweather which means they will be promoting his May 5th bout. I think Arum is trying to find a reason not to make the fight and the Investor thing will be that reason bc Floyd is not doing a deal without his people.

Lance has said that he knows Floyd would not do a deal without Ellerbe or Haymon but GBP is not needed but he doesn't realize or acknowledge that Arum also said that Ellerbe and Haymon may be out of the loop as well. These guys actually feel that, that would be fine or some ****.

 

I understand what you said. So if Floyd is okay with 50/50, gloves, ring size, testing is agreed upon but Arum wants to not deal with GBP, and says Floyd turned down a deal with Investors and that GBP is not needed. Who is at fault?

 

I don't think that would stop it. As I said to you already, Arum has said many times what he would not work w/ GBP. And guess what, he did anyway. With all the money involved and both sides seamingly talking, there's just too much progress made for it to be broken down by one smalll thing.

BUT, since you are pestingering me, IF Arum did stop the entire thing simply because of GBP's participation, sure, Arum woyuld be at fault. But unlike you, I take it a step further. I would ask WHAT GBP wanted to handle in this promotion, or what role it is. You see, those are details that make a difference. It's not as simple as you put it.
