Why would Floyd be afraid of Ricky? If they're gonna agree on each others terms in the negotiations I'm sure they're both willing to fight...I'm also pretty sure Mayweather can handle Hatton's style. MMA has nothing to do with this.

If Ricky fights on the inside against Cotto he'll pay dearly... He'd need a liver, kidney and also a ribs transplant... That's why he wants a fight with PBF... He knows he'll loose badly, but he'll make more money than fighting against Cotto... So the coward and money-lover is that Hatton the fellow... I bet that if this fight doesn't happen Hatton will not look for a fight with Miguel...
    Ricky "Hitchman" Hatton!!

    LOL!

    Doing my dirty work Dennis??

I can't believe how defensive people get over their favorite fighters man...its amazing. I actually think Ricky is a top fighter and more proven then most of my favorite fighters at the moment and that includes (Kelly Palvik, Miguel Cotto, Edison Miranda, Manuel Lopez, Chad Dawson...etc, etc.

MMA????? Sorry man I'm kinda old school boxing's my vice MMA gets a bit to commercial for me, I feel like I'm watching Rick Flare and Hulk Hogan on WWF when I watch the UFC and MMA. I used to train in Muay Thai, now that's some real ****.

Mayweather isn't scared to fight anybody right now in my opinion...he is just trying to get as much money as possible

Mayweather and Hatton will probably fight in November, there's just negotiating right now.

And before when Ricky (or his team) turned down Mayweather and asked for $13 million. I personally don't feel Ricky himself was scared, but his team wanted to go after those HBO dollars and get him some US exposure before taking on Floyd.

If this is true then whoever wins this match automatically becomes fighter of the year:happy

Possibly, but not necessarily. Say it's one of those fights like De La Hoya-Trinidad where it's a low point for BOTH guys.

Right now I'd probably go with Rafael Marquez.

If Rafa beats Izzy again next month then maybe.. Beating ODLH and Hatton (if) in a year deserves the crown

After seeing how Hatton and Cotto both demolished opponents, who had Mayweather hurt (Castillo), knocked down (Judah) and defeated (Castillo I) Mayweather is shitting his pants right now.

Which would explain why he waited less than 24 hours to issue a challenge to Hatton following the Castillo bout right?
