What is the point of saying someone from the past would beat someone from the present? Are you that in need of making a post that you have to resort to what-if's in order to make your self feel better?

What makes you think anyone from the present would win or lose against anyone in the past? There's no way to tell, so saying someone would beat someone else and you're sure of it just makes you look like a dumbass.

Duran would probably beat Floyd, unless Floyd beat Duran. That's exactly what the outcome of this hypothetical matchup is. EXACTLY.

His legs are still there but he cant get more than one punch off and hes missing a hell of a lot more. Its just a matter of time before he gets kod. He aint got the best chin.

He really isn't, and hasn't been for years. It's just something the US media run with because he's a recognisable american fighter. In reality he's been avoiding the toughest opponents to preserve his financial status. He's done, and nothing demonstrates it better than the very fact he had to rematch Maidana, a C+/B- fighter.

He's going to finish up taking concussive Ls like Roy Jones, James Toney etc, probably fail a drug test or two trying to stay in the mix. It's over.

Would he bring a weapon into the ring? How is that possible? Don't they check for brass knuckles and dirty bombs/chemical weapons behind the ears and under the armpits before you enter the ring?

Explain to me how a premeditated murder inside a venue being viewed live by millions of people on television would take place in a hypothetical matchup between a current fighter from 2014 and a past fighter from 30 years ago.

Room service poisoning the previous night? A sniper from the stub hub grassy knoll?

Shot is a pretty strong word. So I wouldn't use it. But to be frank when I saw that show that mayweather put on for the "bite" I was thinking "this reminds me of Hopkins nicking a breather." It wasn't rolling around on the ground shameful but honestly Floyd mayweather is the guy that in the middle of the Zab Judah riot in the ring, went to a corner and down to one knee to conserve energy, if he's that focused in a fight, why would anyone believe that Floyd mayweather lost his focus enough to make a huge scene in the ring? Ya right. IMO that was a pretty IMO that was a pretty cheap way to get a break.
