It doesn't matter if he left, he's back now to reclaim the throne and the #1 spot is rightfully his.

Pac wasn't #1 while Mayweather was around and nothing should change now _

Anyone with a semblance of a brain can see Pac has far more impressive scalps on his resume. Its up to Mayweather to earn it back now.

resume's don't matter ... if a fighter retires or is stripped of his titles ... if he chooses to fight again, he's still considered by many experts the best in his division and in this case p4p.

in the case of resumes ... Mayweather wouldve smashed Barrera and Morales ... he's probably going to be the first guy to knockout JMM (when Pac couldn't do it in two fights) and he beat DLH and Hatton first ...

So having done nothing in the past 18 months does not relinquish PBF's P4P status despite Pac claiming 4 titles in 4 weight divisions during the same period? :huh

Mayweather has barely fought an elite fighter in the last 7 years. I understand putting head to head ability into it, but after Pac demolished Floyd's last two opposition in far more impressive fashion, its now up to to Floyd to really prove hes the man.

who else has been on the top of the sport after of year of being pro?

It sure as hell wasn't Pac !!

    17 fights no championship eliminators
fighting a guy who dominated the division and only lost 1 fight
fight 14 world champions at the top of their game

floyd has faced more undefeated fighters
    more champions
    more elite fighters ...

who has pacquiao beat in his prime?

You are right...Pound for Pound DUCKERRRRRRRRRRRRRR though. It's just so embarrassing how he was forced to retire because he either had to face Cotto or Margarito. And supposely he is the greatest of all. Yea right, the greatest ducker of all.
