JMM is the number 2 ranked p4p in the world.. I dont think floyd having trouble with him would hurt his status at all..

JMM is considered by some #1 ... and the 2 fights between him and Pac are in question ... no matter what you guys say about the Pacquiao fights between him and Hatton & DLH he was fighting guys that PBF already beat ... Floyd gave Hatton his first L ... Floyd set the blue print on how to beat down both of those guys in that fashion.

If Floyd knocks out JMM then he's doing something yet again that Pac wasn't able to do first.

#2 or not, you have to take into account that Mayweather is considered to be #1 and still be in his prime and is considered to be on the same level, if not higher, skillwise, and will have the advantage of being the bigger man in the ring with other advantages. For instance, JMM at 143 is not the same as JMM at 129; we whitnessed at 135, he doesn't carry the same physical abilities. So if he still has trouble with all these advantages and is expected to win, what will happen (to his P4P ranking) if he goes life and death with Marquez or simply just performs bad?
