Mayweather is still the bigger draw.

despite selling less ppvs buys becuase you have to remember that cotto vs. pac was expected to be more competitive then mayweather vs. marquez. virtually everybody knew mayweather was going to win yet he still sold over 1 mill. having said that, mayweather is slightly bigger draw, and the only logical reason for this is because hes american, because pac style is certainly more entertaining. plus mayweatehr has that "0". a 50/50 split is certainly reasonable. for both parties.

50/50 and i still think Pac is the bigger draw here especially after his last performance.

but you have to take into account that mayweather sells ppv even when hes expected to win. but after pac last performance, they are very close, giving the benefit of the doubt to mayweather.

Doesn't matter 50/50 split is fair.

I'm not sure. Pac's recent run of form puts him up there. Regardless, Mayweather beats him on points - clearly.

The funny thing is that before the fight, Arum remarked that more people would be watching Pac/Cotto to see who would fight Mayweather next.

Pac was still expected to win. he was a heavy betting favorite and coming off of some big wins. Add this win to the list and I'd day he's at least equal to floyd right now

you got a point but people wanted to see him fight a guy a real welterwieght, and cotto was never considered a pushover. while mayweather- marquez on paper looked it would be a sparring match and actually tunred out to be just that, yet it sold over a 1 mill, granted it was mayweather's comeback, which could have played a roll. people may have wanted to see if he still had it. because otherwise that was a mismatch from the get go.
