Well that's clearly a ridiculous statement and clearly false.

Corley is not a really a big power guy,, no where near Pacman...

I think If we see Mayweather vs Pacquiao, we will see Mayweather seriously hurt again, then I would like to see how his recovery skills are...

 Of course he takes some shots, its just that the connect rate is very low, something like 20% many times.

People ask if he can take Pac's power and really Pac isnt a one hit KO artist, he breaks people down. Pac will land at times but I think PBF can handle that.

There is no way Pac lands enough to "break floyd down" and PBF doesnt gas in the late rounds like DLH or Cotto, he has excellent stamina.

The only way Pac wins is by a higher work rate over 12. So the only question in my mind is can PBF either counter Pac enough to outland him or also have enough power to get Pac's respect and keep him from throwing those combinations and winning rounds. I think he can, I think Pac will be hesitant to open up like that.

He is not 'unhittable', no fighter ever was. But he is EXTREMELY hard to hit with a clean shot, and when he does get hit with one he still doesn't get hit with the follow-up shots. The shot he gets hit with puts him on the alert and he skips and ducks the follow-up attack so the opponent can't capitalize. Can Pac do better? We'll have to wait and see, but he might have to hope that he hurts Mayweather with the single shot that he will land from time to time, and after seeing his last few fights i believe he might well do just that. And if he does, Mayweather will be in a world of trouble. Pacquiao is no DeMarcus Corley.

I dont expect him to get that hurt. How long did it take him to stop Cotto and DLH? It took many rounds of landing cleanly. He wont land that regularly on PBF and so Im not worried about PBF having to take the odd shot that comes flush.

The post is not a general sconsensus in ESB, but refers to some here who think that the fight is a "walk in the park" kind of thing for Mayweather.

It is either I am so stupid or am I missing something. The realist in me sees these as a fight that would take something from both fighters. volume puncher versus defense master and the recipe would guarantee a big bang theory.

I do not even care who wins. If Mayweather wins by a boring decision., then so be it. But to see that grin in his face erased would be classic.

The reason that PBFs opponents dont throw is because of Mayweathers counter punching ability. He will beat Pacman and all the haters will say he was supposed to:-(

oscar threw lots of combo's at floyd and not many landed flush

hatton came out like a bull in a china shop against floyd
in the early rounds and floyd pot shotted , covered up, spoiled
and ricky couldn't really do anything.

we know pac is a massive difference but floyd is crafty he will keep pot shoting in the centre and if pac drives him back to the ropes he will
cover up and use his elbows.

floyd is the best in the world at just doing enough to nick a round
then taking a breather during rounds.

He is the hardest fighter to hit in the world and it is very rare that he is hit. Look at his face and that shows u as there isnt a mark on him. Superb defense. I watched the corrales fight last nite and he couldnt hit floyd flush. Ask marquez how hard he is to hit after all he landed missed 514 punches and only landed just over 60.

That's true, but Floyd had ZERO respect for Corley's power. He was actually squared up and throwing bombs when he got caught. How often do you see him do that? He won't square himself up in the middle of the ring like that against Pacquiao.

Marquez never landed more than 8 punches in any given round.
