A lot of people (including me) said if Marquez could hit Pacman, then Cotto could do the same but with more power...Look what happened there...
pac is not a great defensive fighter, he gets hit too much in my opinion to beat fighter like Mayweather. I think Pac will land on PBF, but is not going to be enough do to PBF superb defense, unlike anything Pac has ever faced in his career.
That was as big of a shot as he was ever hit with, he took it well and didnt allow Corley to follow up with it. I think that shows his chin is good and Pac cant hurt him with any 1 punch.
Mayweather's closest fight so far was to Delahoya. The Pac fight will be more difficult for him. And that doesn't leave much room for Floyd. IF he wins, it will be his toughest fight. Right now, I'm undecided.
I was proving that he can be hurt . Some ignorant nuthugger like yourself was convinced that he has never been hurt nor will he ever be hurt
Every fighter gets hit unless it's a opening round KO. Floyd just don't get hit enough for one to cause serious damage to him. I just watched him fight Corely, and in that fight he got hit a few good times, clean flush shots at that. Mayweather took them well and kept pouring on the punishment. He even had a bloodied lip and a cut over his eye. That's the most damage I've ever seen him take in his entire career, and that was his first fight at 140lbs.
mayweather was hit more than roy jones ever was even up to this point to be honest i cant help it he still reminds me of what a P4P fighter should look like even at 40 like seven left hooks in a second 20 punch combos thats what p4p is supposed to look like remember you barley ever heard of floyd till 2005 after roy jones was dethroned but floyd never looked like a p4p to me and he is very hittable i still would rather floyd fight mosley or cotto before margrito paul williams im not sure floyd will fight manny
Interesting thread... Mayweather is far more hittable than people tend to think he is. At the same time though Mayweather hasn't been hit as much as people think in certain fights; De La Hoya for example. Oscar made very little genuine contact with Floyd - Marquez on the other hand hit Mayweather with some very solid lead powershots. For the purposes of this thread, overall I would say the idea that Floyd doesn't get hit is a myth.
That was a monster shot and his legs didnt even buckel, its natural to go back the way under the force of such a big shot, and check how he reacts when he knows hes under pressure or trouble he put his guard up high and stopped the punches coming through until he could clear his head That my friend is a smart smart fighter
Look dumbass...have you ever seen me write he hasnt been hurt before...if not then be an adult, talk boxing...
floyds defence is not going to be fast enought to defend all of pacs punches. the difference with all his other opponents is that pac has extreme speed and works on different angles.pac is ver unorthodox and no fighter can prepare for his style.
Floyd may have been hit before, but never, ever hurt. Pacman has the style that floyd likes...someone coming at him so he can counter. I'm curious to see what Manny and Freddie Roach will do if Pac can't reach or hurt Floyd in the first 3-4 rounds. Will Pac back up and let Floyd come to him? Man, that would be interesting but I don't thing Pacman has the mentality to back up.
