How can ANYONE not tested at the elite level be P4P#1 for years as he was?

 

Mayweather's resume at 147 is very pedestrian. (now expect some *** Floyd fan to cry about Floyd beating the great Baldomir....WORST WW Champ and possibly worst World Champ ever)

I will admit that I am a self proclaimed mayweather hater. The real reason we hate him is because he is so good. In every sport the best compete against the best to see who is the best i.e. Superbowl, nba finals, world series and so on. For his skill set he has sidestepped some MAJOR competition at the welterweight level. Seas fans want to see great fights, not fighters looking good against handpicked limited opposition. He is not the only fighter guilty of this however I think he is the best fighter guilty of this and it drives us nuts. That why we hate him.

 

He's untested at ww but has proven himself at lower weights. After Castillo he hasn't really fought anyone his size that could beat him other then an aging DLH.

One fact you left out though, Diego Corrales was Top 5 P4P when Floyd beat him. Another fact, Diego Corrales weighed in at 147 pounds on fight night vs Floyd who weighed at 135...in a 130 lb fight. Floyd still dominated and stopped Corrales.

 

Funny how Floyd Mayweather's "ordinary" wins like Hatton, DLH, and Marquez were legacy-sealing wins for Pacquiao according to the thread starter.(i'm assuming)
