Corrales and Castillo at the time they fought Floyd were elite fighters...now Corrales fight career ended when he died in a tragic accident and Castillo has struggled psychologically since losing to Hatton.

I feel as though you don't know anything about boxing history or the intricacies of the sweet science. Moreover, you contradict yourself by saying tha "Mayweather is untested at the elite level" only to say near the end of your post that His upcoming fight with Pacquiao would be his first fight in a while where he has to face a legitimate threat and a fight at the elite level" . So what is your claim that Floyd is untested at the elite level or that he has not faced anbody at an elite level recently. You say two contrasting things.

Mayweather regardless of personality is a much better fighter than Pac on the basis of technique, defense, balance, ring generalship, and intelligience. However, Pac has a more crowd pleasing style. I personally hate dislike Void but he is the most elite fighter you can find in the sport today.

 

Why did Void not do so well in his split decision to Oscar? He should have lost that decision. Void did not stop Hatton in the second round. Void refused to fight Cotto, so Pac did. Pac has balls, Void appears to be a transsexual.

 

I thought Oscar wont that fight, but all the dead air time went to void, even though he was just running about.
