on the elite level, floyd's best win was against ODLH. can't think of anything else. Corrales? Castillo? what are they now?
Since leaving 135, DLH is the CLOSEST thing to an elite fighter (notice I say closest). Where Corrales and Castillo are now has no relevance on their status when Floyd beat them. That said, the Corrales win was over an elite fighter. Castillo was very good, but I believe he fell just short of being seen as an elite fighters...
i quite agree , especially with the title/topic. but his demand of a random steroids test must be understood. quite a fair demand. of course pacquiao uses steroids. how can anyone be dumb enough to think he did not ?
You being serious? Corrales was expected to beat Mayweather and was #1 at 130 when Floyd schooled him. Hatton came up to 147 yes, but he was the best at 140 and was undefeated. Castillo was #1 at 135 and one of the best P4P, Mayweather beat him whilst injured in the first fight no matter what anyone says, PBF won the first fight then done him over much much more convincevly in their second fight. He went up to 154 and beat ODLH Gatti was one of the best at 140 when Floyd schooled him Judah is a top fighter and can give anyone around his weight a fight, especially for the first 4 rounds, but Floyd figured him out and beat him etc.
Lets not forget that hatton looked like pernell whitaker when he fought malignaggi, so maybe it's floyds level of competition that is making him look more skilled than he really is.
You don't know **** about the sport. I knew that the minute you said Castillo wasn't great and not a hof fighter. From that alone I could tell you cleary didn't follow Castillo's career at that time or the lightweight division at that time either. Learn the sport before creating such an ill conceived topic.
Castillo was the main guy at 135 at the time fraud fought him but hes not a great fighter and never was a great fighter.
