I don't see him ever fighting Pacquiao. He's never fought anyone close to the level of Pacquiao.

He's fought fighters a level or two below Pacquiao for years. He's never seen the angles, movement, boxing skill that Manny possesses in the ring.

Some of you people think he's unbeatable on this forum. Maybe because he ducks at the right time and avoids anyone who's ever a threat to take his 0.

LMFAO. Just look at JMM. JMM is no Mayweather. Mayweather is better counter puncher and better in the pocket. Everyone thinks Floyd will move against Manny. He won't. He'll fight in the pocket.

Pac's not like Madonna who bull rushes you to the ropes. It will be fought in the center of the ring as it was with JMM and Canelo.

yeah look at jmm, pac was whooping his ass before jmm caught him w that hail mary, mayweather does not have that kind of power, mayweathers hand would break in half if he tried throwing that hard of a punch. pac would cut floyd up and win a decision.

    Pacquiao is levels above Maidana.

Mayweather looked mediocre in both the Maidana fights and he even admitted that. He was getting hurt by Maidana.

Mayweather has degressed much more than Pacquiao has.

Mayweather has always had weaknesses. Only his nuthuggers think prime Floyd was untouchable.

    crisp straight punches
    feints
    head movement.

His defense is designed to avoid him getting caught with haymakers and he is excellent at it...but it's extremely vulnerable to straight punches, especially when coming from a low angle.

Feints... See the JLC fights... he bit on the feints and was backed into the ropes, then JLC unloaded.

Head movement... especially at this age. Floyd relies on his confidence of making sure his punches land. A guy with good head movement doesn't give Floyd the assurance that his lead right, or check-hook is going to land. Makes him more apprehensive.

Maybe because Mayweather is older? NOBODY beats father time. Notice how Arum is waiting for Floyd to turn 40 before fighting him?

What's your point? That's what makes Floyd the best of his generation. He overcomes his off nights. Lesser champions have off nights and lose or get KTFO.

    He's only a year older.

Arum isn't waiting at all. Floyd just doesn't want to fight Pacquiao because he knows Pac would give him a hell of a time.

He makes every excuse in the book.

Almost two years older, 22 months. My father said he started to slow down in his mid 30s.

Yet Floyd has tried to make the fight 2X. Whose excuses? Better check the facts.

And Maidana the first time, if you score bodyshots.

Two years older is nothing. Pac's been in more wars and had more fights.

Pac beats this current Floyd plain as day.

Against village bums? That's what we call an amateur career in the states. Floyd has been fighting since he was young, forced by his father to fight.
