    No ****!

Throw out the Sominex and Seroquel for that night, Peeps! Just tune into HBO around 9:30 est.

I say "just tune in" cause surely that would never be launched as a PPV fight.

Anyone that would pay for that snooozfest needs their ****in' head examined. Or again, are in desperate need of sleep and are willing to tackle an experimental buy sure-fire measure.

Ditto. I'd rather staple my nuts to a table than watch anything like that.

**** fights like that are the reason why UFC dicks laugh at our sport. Yes you have two fine exponents of the sweet science but **** me that'd be boring.

Mayweather v Cotto for me and Wright v a punch-bag for as much as I care.

tough call....i would pick mayweather on clean punching....winky will be in his shell most of the night, guarding against the mayweather speed.....but winky may be just too big....besides I dont think winky can make 154 anymore?

if it's prime for prime, then winky definitely. just don't see any way floyd could break through winky's guard. plus winky is much bigger, is a southpaw, and has a great jab. just a bad matchup for floyd. winky by clear decision.

Assuming you mean the Winky that fought Mosley vs the PBF that fought DLH then clearly Winky

Really almost any Winky beats him based on a higher workrate and him blocking the majority of PBF's shots thus outlanding him.

Only Winky I see loosing is if they tried to fight today at 154 and Winky would be both drained and his reflexes/timing were slipping in the Williams fight.

Right now thats pretty tough. Depends if he could get back down to 154, he was a pretty big Light Middleweight anyway wasen't he? Then again Mayweather was shocking against De La Hoya for 6 rounds, when the jab was working. If Wright could keep the jab in his face and rough him up inside then he could do it. Stylistically he is wrong for Mayweather IMO. Even fight.

For those needing a brief history lesson - it was in late June of 2005 and Mayweather had just looked sensational in stopping the late Arturo Gatti. Shortly after fighting Gatti, Mayweather issued a challenge to Winky Wright who defeated Felix Trinidad a month earlier after beating Shane Mosley in their rematch in November of 2004. At that time I wrote for another entity and said Mayweather was just trying to get attention and had no intention of ever fighting Wright. None whatsoever. Stating that Floyd would get out of the fight by making outrageous demands that Wright would never accept. Only Mayweather was wrong and Wright did accept his terms knowing he'd do exactly to Mayweather what Floyd just did to Marquez. Winky knew his size and strength would neutralize Mayweather's speed and skill set. Once Wright agreed to accept the ridiculous deal, surprise, Mayweather turned a deaf ear and went another direction and fought Sharmba Mitchell.

It didn't happen because Floyd did not want to risk it.

From what I remember it was only briefly discussed. Someone told Winky PBF was interested in him and Winky literally laughed thinking it was a job but then once he realized it was serious said he was up for the fight. They had brief negotiations but PBF wanted restrictions on Winky's weight on fight night, he had to be at 154 or 156 or whatever on fight night and Winky said he couldnt do that so it never happened.

haha the funny thing is they have similar styles so surely 'skills win the fight' like they said with the marquez fight. WRONG. Winky wins this one because of his size
