Floyd has claimed to be the GOAT, will he be fighting Pavlik soon? Shane Mosley has called out Floyd several times, all we hear is a lot of excuses from him.

 

If I remember correctly Floyd was asked in the ring by Merchant about him facing Cotto and his response was something along the lines of I need time away, I won't let boxing retire me...etc. Than he went and made a fight with a JR WW in Hatton.

 

If he gets past Marquez then I might listen to what he has to say !!!

 

I've stated my feelings about this many times before; PBF is a false advertiser. All of the prefight sheit talking sets up a false expectation for the fans, particularly the casuals who get fooled when they end up paying for a chess match and are expecting to witness a war. I get that he's a fake tough guy who playing up to the tough guy persona to shamelessly promote himself but it tends to get maaad annoying.

 

Why does Maysweather obsess so much over losses? Its like the end of the world for him. Cotto and Pacquiao are garbage to him because they both have been stopped. God forbid that Floyd loses a fight because he'll probably go mental and vanish.

 

Since you want to play that game, let's name all the undefeated fighters Cotto has faced

 

It's leverage for potential future negotiating, that's the way I view it at least.
