I can appreciate him for what he does in the ring ..The minute I get caught up in the soap opra I become a female ! Im with you on that I could careless about his personal life but then I get a headache from so called boxing fans who sweat everything people like him do
The idea Floyd has a large fanbase is a misconception. He has a minority of fans who just happens to be incredibly vocal. We see this time and time again in public opinion polls not only on this site but elsewhere. If you're to read a Pac/Floyd thread, it seems like opinion is divided right down the middle, but once a poll gets posted, you get a clearer picture of reality. It all comes down to a very vocal minority.
Horrible post. None of it is true. Floyd has many fans, just because you and your friends aren't fans doesn't mean that they don't exist. The difference is Floyd doesn't have as many die hard fans as Pac, those who will go on msg boards and speak anything negative about him (Floyd) because he is the guy who was mean to Manny and accused him of jucing. ESB polls mean nothing, u have trolls and people who vote from multiple names, or who will vote Manny on any topic just to be anti Floyd. Hell, some people don't even think about the question or read the poll, they just answer based off of who they like more (there are people who do this in favor of Floyd as well). In reality, Floyd has many fans, they just may not be within your circle. I go places and u see just as many people love him as they hate him. My five best friends are all Floyd fans, but they don't come on message boards to talk him up. U can't apply what u see or think personally as to what the entire picture is.
Sentences 2,3 and 4 are objective responses. I didn't think a Pacquiao fan could be objective about Floyds personal life.
LOL you're in the middle? hahahaha jesus! that's like saying hitler was in the middle about joe louis
I agree people will pay to watch him lose but come on it ain't like he has 1 million people all paying to see him lose. He has fans there is no doubt about that. Remember this is the guy people say is boring and doesn't put on a display in the ring but time and time again people pay to watch him fight.
I'd rather be the highest paid boxer who is considered a villain, then be an average paid boxer who is considered a good guy.
