Maybe if he wouldn't have retired in his PRIME we wouldn't talk **** against him!
And even if he did retire in his prime..Maybe if he'd STFU, and quit calling himself the GOAT a lot of people wouldn't criticize him!
Nobody is questioning how good he is, and honestly nobody cares if he retires. Your seriously going to call yourself the GOAT when the biggest names you beat were people like Gatti, Baldo, ODLH, and Hatton? He has a couple good wins...Also, a very questionable loss ;)...
Regardless, that is the resume of the GOAT huh?

I agree entirely. However, I feel that he would be able to dominate 147.

What I don't like, and it seems that we're in the same boat, is that he is unjustly criticized for not dominating his 4th weight class, when he beat the linear champion and the former linear, undisputed champion in succession.

Also, he is unjustly criticized for not fighting some people whom he was fully willing to fight. Cotto, Hatton, Tszyu, Mosley, Casamayor and Freitas.

No. People hate HIM but everyone recognises him as truly and all time great and one of the very, VERY most skilful fighters who ever entered the ring.

    Now stop ****ing whining!

How is Hatton smaller than Floyd when Hatton is the one that cuts from the 170's? Floyd is really no bigger than a 140lber. It's funny how people continue to say "smaller Hatton" when Floyd isn't a big guy at all. Just fights in a bigger weight class:yep And he never ducked Shane. I'm a Mosley fan but wasn't it Shane that turned down a fight because he wanted to go on vacation and fix his tooth? Floyd was calling out Shane since 135:yep

Wait a minute! Are those the "slap" punches everyone says Williams was throwing all night? Hmmm....

Look at that reach! Now I see why Margo wasn't so quick to jump in the ring with him. He decided to take an easier tune-up fight with Shane Mosely instead... oh wait!:patsch

Pac is the best. Not Floyd.

right now Pac is a lock for fighter of the decade and Floyd better be praying that Hatton beats him cause or else Floyd's career will be completely and totally overshadowed by Pac's. And even if Hatton knocks out Pac in the first round, there is still Hopkins who might go on to school Adamek for the CW title and outshine Floyd.

Sorry man Floyd great fighter, yes. Greatest, hell no.
