As expected, the ******ed newbies will now use Mosley(since he wiped the floor with Margarito) as the new guy who Mayweather ducked or will forever duck. If you spent at least 2 minutes looking into this you would know that you're a fruitcake for saying that. Mayweather was the one who called out Mosley, it was Mosley who turned it down and PUBLICLY to clear the way for DLH. You obviously weren't paying attention to the sport when that happened and LIVE after the Vargas rematch, or maybe you were and acting stupid. Mayweather never ducked Margarito, the case has been gone through endless times. A guy with 4 losses(zero avenged) who's biggest win at the time was Kermit Cintron and Manuel Gomez isn't a guy worth wasting time on, let alone "duck".
I can't disagree with that, if anything I might even agree with it as I'm a Pacquiao fan too. So far Pacquiao is leading with the accomplishments and the longer Mayweather stays retired and further Pacquiao goes, that's how it is. Doesn't mean Mayweather MUST come out of retirement, definitely not, just means that even though Mayweather's accomplishments hang out, Pacquiao is progressing and his accomplishments are huge too.
Some just want to see him fight again Scar. I'd like to see Floyd fight again. Problem with that? I mean, don't you want to see him fight again Scar? And people do want him to fight a top guys. Mosely inserted himself back into that with his win. Pac made a case with his win. As did JMM just now. Do you expect EVERYONE to agree on ONLY disucssing one fighter to face Floyd? Or should Floyd be off topic since it seems to bother his biggest fans greatly.
I would like to see him come out of retirement too though unlikely. Never said he should be off-topic, it's nice to discuss possible opponents but to say he ducked certain ones is foolish especially when it's not true.
people will remember floyd as a talented boxer, not great... if pac will wins against hatton, and also his 3rd match with marquez....i don't know how can i remember pbf's name....
Look at Hopkins' record and compare it with PBF. PBF only fights low risk fights for plenty of reward. That is not the sign of a champion, regardless of how good his defense and counter-punching abilities are.
floyd is a great fighter... it's just unfortunate that he retired prematurely he could have done a lot more. floyd would beat pac and JMM... Pac still has to prove he has a chance against floyd by beating hatton.
Sorry Pac is the greatest now simply because PBF retired. Pac would have never gotten to P4P #1 on his own.
Pac would have taken the #1 spot in 2008 wether Floyd retired or not. PBF's retirement just sped things up by a couple of months
That would of depended on who Floyd fought, if he faced Cotto instead of Tony and won he would still of been P4P number 1.
No way. PBF would have still been fighting and beating people no way would Pac have ever overtaken him. A blind man can see who's the more skilled fighter and that's what P4P is all about. Not to mention if PBF was still active they might have fought and we wouldn't be having this conversation right now because PBF would have beaten him
