When theres so many of them yes, just cause you have a belt that doesnt mean you're a great fighter and not when you have better fighters in the division that dont have a title.

Probably but speaking of blanket statements, why don't you demonstrate how much politics play such a large part. Until you spell out the cold hard facts this is nothing better than weasel wording.

You need me to demonstrate how politics play a role in boxing? Are you serious? :patsch

Look, if you don't think they do, then you need to watch a LOT more boxing. But that should be obvious to everyone at this point. Or maybe you thought it was a cioncidence Don King HW's used to get so many title shots.

He's just trying to "win" or something. If someone doesn't believe poitics are played on boxing...then they really need to pay more attention.

    You got it backwards.

5 titles for each weight division makes it that the value of a championship is diluted. That, I agree with.

Conversely, 5 titles for each weight divisions makes it that a greater number of good fighters hold titles therefore and contrary to what you're saying there's a lesser chance for ''better fighters'' to be deprived of title.

    Logic.

I'd rather see Mayweather face better opposition, like Mosley.

It makes it easier for a good fighter to get a shot at a title but it also makes it easier to avoid certain fighters and still win a title, which is what PBF gets accused of.

No I don't need you to demonstrate how politics play a role. I know how. For sake of accuracy, it's not so much politics than financial discipline that plays such role.

If I tally up your recent posts, your purpose is to demonstrate that Mayweather's accomplishments are not worth mentioning because he's not fighting the boxers you would want to see him fight. No matter who he beats, it's never good enough because: (1) titles nowadays are watered down, (2) politics play a role. If you apply this to every other boxer, there's no such thing as a champion.

So you want to see Floyd fight Tony? So who is it gonna be after he shuts him off 120-108? Mosley? 116-112. There will always be another one and you know it...

And BTW why do you keep watching boxing if it's so diluted and corrupted by politics?

OK it makes it easier compared to a long forgotten past. Now explain why the other ''better'' ww he's supposedly avoiding can't do it if it's that easy? Oh yeah, almost forgot, politics...
