Mayweather sounds really desperate to me now.

Either he wants to seize the moment that the negotiation between Pac and Cotto is stalled or he is realizing the fight with JMM is not worth it (money wise, ticket sale, risk of losing against JMM).

My view on PBF is that he has shown a reluctance to 'fight' for a while(last 3 fights)- its a classic case of a fighter in denial, all ego driven

So yes he is probably apprehensive of Marquez

Well if he really wants to fight Pac he should accept the 50/50 split Arum offered him cause theres no way he deserves more than Pac.

Almost everyone concerned; Roach, Pacquiao, (allegedly Trampler), De La Hoya, Shaefer... Would prefer Mayweather/Pacquiao. It's not like these assholes aren't plotting. There's been some odor - and even if this is all out of the clear blue sky, Mayweather Jr. is tickling the fancy of alot of influental players involved in the situation. Particularly Roach and Pacquiao. Not that I think it's out of the clear blue sky. Nope.

The only reason Floyd has toned down his act is he knows the fight is a tough sell based on the JMM's weight jump so if he slags him, it just makes it a tougher sell. Nothing to do with "scared" or "knowing how to be respectful", it's just business.

You remember when he was scared to sign the Gatti contract because he was delaying on it? Do you remember when he was ducking Ricky Hatton? Remember when there was talk he may face Cotto instead of Hatton, he was taking the softer touch.

So obviously if hes agreed to fight Marquez but then agrees to fight Pacquaio instead he's ducking Pacquaio or Marquez depending on who he fights

it doesn't really help to promote PBF vs JMM to say that he would just pay step-aside money to Marquez if Pac wants to fight

Something's telling me Marquez and Mayweather is just NOT going to happen. The whole Mayweather/Marquez - Pacman/Cotto elimination sounded too good to be true anyway. Greedy *******s.

"HURRR DURR I MAKE MILLIONS OF DOLLARS BUT I WANT A MILLION MORE", just shut the **** up and get in the ring. When did Lamotta or Gentleman Jim squabble over the purse?

He's not suggesting to breach the contract. There would simply be another contract that voids the first. The second contract would involve giving Marquez money for not fighting. If I were Marquez I'd be praying for this to happen. Give me a million dollars and I'll **** off no problem.

This is why i wish there was some sort of boxing organization better than we have now. It seems like there is too much drama.
