Oh common enzo, I want Pac to upset Floyd as much as you do, but the man is in NO way desperate. He's rich, he's good for life, and he's one of the best. That does not equal despair. :yep So what if he just conveniently prolongs the period he really was a champ? The guy is playin. Gotta respect that. He is using his wits to get himself hated, which generates tons of income because everyone wants to see him lose. I'm starting to like the guy the more I see him talk in a relaxed manner. I didn't realize before how much of his manners were purely an act. Now I do, I guess I respect him more.
He asked for support from the American citizen in response to Mark Whalberg supporting PAC. He just tried to imply Whalberg loyalties are not nationalistic. Just a tongue in cheek response although whalberg did look uncomfortable hearing it But like he said it dont matter about the fans and the number of fans you have, only 2 people can fight in that ring.
Yeh for the 100th time. Same **** different interview. The only new thing he said was asking support from the american citizens. Makes me wonder, how limited is Floyds vocabulary?
You either love Mayweathers confidence - or you hate it. I wouldnt think there would be an in between with anyone. I suppose if you can talk the talk, why not.. Its going to sell a lot of PPVs, thats for sure.
This thread is typical Floyd Hatred. Floyd shows some confidence and self belief going into one of the biggest fights of the last 30 yrs and people wanna crucify him for being arrogant. What he supposed say? I dont know if Im gonna win.
Floyd is definitely as full of crap as ever but at least he seemed relaxed and ...as down to earth as someone like him is going to get.
You can't get any bigger Floyd fan than the TS. The TS is willing to receive a bullet for Floyd. So don't say that this is a Floyd hatred thread. "What he supposed say? I dont know if Im gonna win." - That is what Pac usually says. That shows humility.
Totally agree with that, Floyd has a complex but he is knows what sells, and that what differentiates him from Mosley. If he was mild mannered he wouldn't be in the position he is. He realised this during the Gatti fight. America does not like a cocky fighter but will watch to see him lose. I for one don't want to see him being all mild mannered with Pac, I want to see him bring attitude all night.
You mean Floyd is actually a humble guy who cares for his fans? He has the skills to be loved by all but he just doesn't know how to connect to people. It's all me me me for him. He doesn't need to do the part of the villain because he can actually do the part of the hero.
It's so blatantly obvious that Floyd's talk is all for the camera. If he was really that arrogant and cocky, he wouldn't work as hard as he does. He comes into the ring fully prepared every time, and then after the fight, he's the most humble guy in the ring. After he beats Pacquiao, he'll give him a hug and tell him he's a great fighter. He might even turn around to Roach and say, "Hey, your a great trainer". He just does everything he has to do to win, and if we can't appreciate that, then maybe we're in the wrong sport. The only issue I ever had with Floyd was his competition, but that's been squashed finally because he's taking on the best fighter in the world.
