Vote who do you think is better? IMO:

IMO Floyd got this. He fought more primed opponents and bigger opposition and won them all. Tito fought more big names but unfortunely most of them were out of prime much like Oscar De La Hoya.

    Past prime notables

    Floyd's Hernandez to Trinidad's Camacho
    Floyd's Oscar to Trinidad's Whitaker
    Floyd's Baldomir to Trinidad's Mayorga

    Notables
    Floyd's Judah to Trinidad's Campas

    Not so good notables
Floyd's N'dou was in prime as well as Sosa to Trinidad's Reid and Thiam
    Floyd's Corley to Trinidad's Carr
    Floyd's Chavez to Trinidad's Joppy

    Elites
    Floyd's Corrales to Trinidad's Vargas
Floyd's Castillo 2x (peaking Prime) to Trinidad's bhop (semi prime) and Wright (semi prime)
Floyd's Hatton (prime) to Trinidad's (out of prime Jones)
Floyd has also beaten a prime Judah and prime Carlos Henderaz

Tito fought more big names but most definitely not the most dangerous.

good argument but I gotta go Tito based on bigger names and his willingness to fight anyone... Floyd ducking Cotto and Margarito hurt his resume...

Tito: (win or lose) (HOF=Hall of fame)
    Whitaker HOF
    Oscar HOF
    Winky HOF
    B-hop HOF
    Vargas potential HOF
    Roy Jones HOF
    Camacho HOF
    Mayorga

    PBF:
    Corrales Potential HOF
    Castillo Potential HOF
    Oscar HOF
    Hatton Potential HOF
    Chop Chop
    Zab
    Baldomir
    Gatti Potential HOF

Like I say they are only names. Most of them are a shell of themselves.

I dont think Trinidad gets enough credit for beating Dave Reid. The man was an Olympic Gold Medal winner and built up a breif but good pro resume beat alot of veterans Jorge Vaca,Simon Brown,Kevin Kelly,Robert Fraizer,Keith Mullings and had defended his WBA Championship a few times. Trinidad easily beat him and ended his career as a serious contender.

Corrales, Castillo, and Casamayor will all be in HOF. Their dominate in their division will not be ignored. Castillo practically fought everyone. Corrales brutalized his opponents and Casamayor is still beating prospects and keeping it down and he lost a close decision against Castillo. Shows Floyd's dominance at 130.

I rather fight an out of prime elite than a hungry prospect.

my favoritepart of that post is how casa losing a close decision to jlc at 135 somehow demonstrates pbf dominance at 130.

He never faced Stevie Johnston. He never faced Joel Casamayor. He never faced Vivian Harris. He never faced Antonio Margarito. He may face Cotto but that remains to be seen.

I'm sure i'm forgetting some names here but yes infact he never cleaned out 135 and he continued that trend going all the way to 154. He's never actually cleaned a division out the way Trinidad has.

The Hatton win is a good win considering that Mayweather is REALLY just a 140lb boxer. But at 147 and 154 I have other people ahead of him. With justification as well.

This resume vs resume nonsense is ridiculous. Absolutely no comparison. Trinidad was busting up guys at 147 that were easily on par with Mayweather's 135lb work. And sure Trinidad eventually lost, but he also fought the very best in every division. And when I say best, I mean best not just by lineage, but ALSO reputation.

Casa is to emphasize on the quality fighter Castillo was an opponent who floyd fought twice. Scratch the 130 part. I am playing online games and typing during rounds.

Trinidad was able to bust fighters who stood right in front of him and bang with him. Semi prime slick fighter would beat TITo. BTW is not like Tito have to try hard to get fights. Everyone ducked Floyd. but you haters will never acknowledge that. only the other way around.
