Why not? Khan has never fought at 147 and Broner obviously is too small at the moment. None of them have a title at 140 or 147, so make it happen.

Catch weights have their place in the sport, esp when its not for a title fight.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a sick and twisted individual that gets ***ually aroused by dominating, manipulating and controlling the fate of other grown men.
I don't know how you call that fetish but damn it's sick man, and by god I don't wanna know what Floyd is doing with Ellerbe and Bieber behind closed doors...

I hate Floyd and think MM is a **** fight and he cherry picked again!/ But how is Broner vs Khan to big to be an undercard for his ppv, i mean Garcia vs Matthysse was on it last time, and that was two world champions the 2 best in the division and easily a massive headliner in it's own right, yet somehow a fight between a Broner (coming off a bad loss) and Khan who last time out went life and death with a journeyman and has gone 2-2 in recent fights. This fight is perfect for the undercard it's not as good a fight as Garcia vs Mathysse.

So many boxing fans are just pathetic.

Khan vs Broner is a great fight and if it was on the undercard it would be a great night of boxing.

Instead of praising the idea, some people are pissed that it will add to Mayweathers PPV buys

    Unreal :patsch

There's nothing wrong with Khan vs Broner but it shouldn't be viewed as an eliminator to fight Floyd because the winner won't necessarily be the best fight out there for him. That's what people mean by saying Broner is the next Berto.

In my opinion......Floyd likes the fact that Broner lost to Miadana and that he can no longer talk about being "the next Floyd Mayweather Jr. And be taken seriously. He's supporting Adrien on the surface but I believe he's relishing the fact that he can show Broner up....."teach the young boy how it's done" ...so to speak.

But him pushing for this match up with Khan is interesting becuase he says that he "likes the match up"......but he has to know the styles match up favor Amir....not Broner. Which from a business standpoint this fight is just what this card needs to do BIG PPV numbers vs just solid PPV numbers......but it could be the fight that derails young Broners career for good. He needs a rebound fight.....not a dangerous fight like the one they are proposing with Khan....

With that said......I hope they make this fight!

Broner is a top level fighter....he just bit off more than he could chew. Had Broner been a more respectful and humble personality this loss to Marcos would have been accepted much better. Think about who Adrien went after......think about what weight he jumped to in order to go after this man? Marcos KO's the majority of he opponents, men his own size and bigger.....Broner fought Marcos toe to toe and left the ring on his feet. That's an accomplishment in my book no matter what I think about his lame persona he projects to the masses.

I understand that but from what the two have recently expressed it seems that Khan has set his mind fully on fighting at no lower than 147 from now on. And even though Broner's contemplating a move down to 140 he may still want to redeem himself against Maidana at some point (don't know whether Maidana would want a rematch at 140 or catchweight).

Plus Khan just fought at 143 CW in his last outing so I don't think he might want another CW next but to instead move up a division properly. Personally, I'd like to see him up against Porter -- He can set his name up there, not to mention there's a title up for grabs.
