Significant = "we don't want to disclose the amount so we can get away with bull****"

If its significant you disclose the amount because the fanbase deserves to know that some justice was delivered

Marquez wins money-wise, but, he loses the fight. I hope Marquez can pull off the upset. I don't think he will.

Did anyone watch the weigh in?

Im not reading anything that indicates Floyd tried to weigh in multiple times......

It doesnt make sense because if Floyd really had to pay a big fine for the extra 2 pounds you would think he would go in the locker room jump some rope or whatever and come out trying to weigh in naked with the towel up like DLH used to do sometimes....

I mean guys go back to loose an extra pound or half a pound all the time, Mosley did his last fight. It doesnt add up, because at stingy as he is with money he would tried to loose atleast a pound of it for a lower penalty.

Exactly another reason to be cynical about a "significant" amount. A significant amount to you or me may be $1000, hell maybe even $100 for some of us.

it will be an amazing win as if it wouldnt be amazing at 144 but winning under these circumstances wow, Floyd would retire for good.

Changes nothing with the outcome of the fight. People are always too caught up in weight classes.. the better guy will win.

it shouldnt be about the money really. if its fair its fair.
getting paid for youre oponent being overweight doesnt change the fact that it aint fair no matter how much you get paid.

hiding the amounts makes this fight uncredible, misleading and laughable. Its understandable tho because revealing those details will only add to the disgust of most people.

How many more information about this joke MISMATCH fight these promoters are hiding from the fans/public??:huh

    - First we were left guessing for the fight weight. Are they afraid less people will buy the fight if they knew beforehand the exact weight for this mismatch fight??

    - Then they change the fight contract just one day before the fight. WTF??

    - Then they penalize Floyd for not making weight with significant amount. Why don't they just honestly disclose the amount??
