Mayweather jr would've lost a fair few fans after the exchange with his father

I'm a massive fan of Floyd over here in the UK and speaking to people who watched the heated arguement between Floyd and his father we can't help but feel he really has gone down in my estimation. No matter how much pain in the arse his father probably is, you just cannot disrespect your dad like that whether in front of the cameras or behind the cameras. There can be no excuses for the way he stepped out of line. Yes, of course his dad got to accept responsibility but when it comes to your parents you can't step over the boundaries.

Floyd lost most of his fans a long time ago. The rational ones, at any rate.

I agree with this but most of my mates are massive boxing fans and love Floyd but even they admitted they had lost respect for him. I know somw will say it's nothing but when you break it down, the mans got serious attitude problem. We've all had arguments with our parents but to swear and them and call them a ****** is the lowest of the low as far as I'm concerned.

I don't any Floyd fans, except for what I read on ESB, B...scene, and it doesn't seem from here the incident has effected their support for him. I've noticed their sentiment against Mayweather Sr has changed and they've started turning on him instead.

This is nothing new. They have had many altercations before. What makes this surprising to us is that it was caught on camera. The majority of the fans are just fans of FMJ in the ring, not out of it.

People who have never had serious issues with one of their parents likely will not understand, it has nothing to do with simply being a 'pain in the ass'

However I did feel bad for Snr.

    Even though it was staged

They're used to it. This wouldn't change a thing.

I had serious issues with my parents which I took badly as I grew up. Till the time I had to look after my young brother by myself I understood them. More so when my son came. Except for very few instances, nothing excuses disrespecting your parents.

Although in this instance I don't see the big deal. There were arguing about boxing, they just happen to be blood related. Otherwise the word disrespect wouldn't have come up.

I didn't lose any respect for him. I actually felt bad for both guys after watching that, there are some very deep rooted issues between them.

Some of you must come from waltons style households if you think that argument was a big deal.

AHAHA... Dude... Some of the most hood cats I know couldn't believe Floyd Jr and Sr's blowout. Not because of the argument itself...but with how a son could out on of their own family members like that I front of everyone and millions at home. Those down playing the fight are only doing so to excuse Floyds behavior......just like with everything else he does that embarrasses the mayweather name.

It happens when father and son are both assholes. And no *******, father or son deserve more respect then the other for there status. But eventually, probably, senior will die before junior. And its junior who will end up feeling like the **** that he is. So he lose.
