Im not saying he is and in my opinion hes not. But i think when its all said and and done he will be there or there abouts. First off i was never a big fan of mayweather , but i know my boxing and its stupid to say the guy aint pure class. His defence is the best iv seen . His footwork his impecable . His timing and accuracy are a thing of beauty he is GREAT. he lacks really power but that makes his talent shine even more. I feel there are a few fighters who would beat him but thats not to say they are on his skill level only 2 or three are in history. But there are a few who i think would get the better of him in the ring. His comp is lacking and his cherry picking i dont like but i give it up to the man he talks the talk and backs it up in the ring i just wish he was in a different era where there was real class fighters and he could be measured to the fullest. But all that said he is the one right now

If I could set up one dream fight to determine where Mayweather is, it would be against the Montreal version of Duran. On style alone it would be nice to see whether he frustrates Duran, or if Duran overwhelms him.

Theres only one fighter i think would murder floyd and that is tommy hearns.. But any fab4 would be a great gauge of floyds atgness

Well on a p4p basie it's not fair to use Hearns or SRL because they, especially Hearns, are simply naturally much bigger fighters.

Duran, while a little smaller than Mayweather would be the closest match in of the fab4 in terms of size. It would also be the most interesting from a stylistic point of view.

Why are they much bigger the were both welterweights. I think floyd is at his best at welter hes not as explosive but hes so much smarter and his defence is better. Welter is the best iv seen him

Well I don't see him beating either Hearns or SRL. Leonard was to adaptable. If he found out he was losing he could turn it into a war. Floyd's never fought like that. Hearns would simply land something Floyd couldn't deal with, the only question is when.

Canelo is too green to judge if that was a good win or not. He could lose his next fight then everyone will say o yea i told u so. Or he could become a great which i doubt very much. But the way floyd dominated him was impressive.
