The still undefeated Floyd Mayweather emerged as the sole pound-for-pound king in the boxing world on May 2 after defeating Manny Pacquiao. But his journey is not over yet. Mayweather is under contract with CBS for a fight during the month of September.
After yesterday fight i can say Khan can easily defeat him.

What do you say about this possible Fight?

Khan wins it for me too, I think his speed and the precision in khans shots would overwhelm Floyd, if anyone deserves the fight I think it's khan

I regret to admit that today Khan can create bigger problems to Mayweather than Pacquiao. Enough problems for Khan fans to claim, that their guy won. Still, Mayweather would win.

Khan's abilities are so exaggerated, and his obvious flaws and vulnerabilities are so ignored.. It really is worrying that people can be so gullible!!

It depends on whether Mayweather wants to ko Khan. Seriously, Khan's china chin (light punching, domestic level UK pros had him on ***** street on multiple ocasions ffs) is so brittle, todays version of Floyd can probably decide pre-fight whether he wants to ko him or not.

Take a look at who Amir has fought (especially since Garcia sparked him). The idea of Amir's camp putting him in with even a decent punching opponent is laughable.. And that says it all!!

And with his abject duck of Brook (I have never known a similar situation where a champion has called out a contender, only for the contender to choose to fight a far lesser opponent, for far less money and no change of winning a bona fide world title) Khan deserves fcuk all!!!

An orthodox fighter who solely relies on speed and is generally basic as far as ability is concerned will pose more problems for Mayweather than Pacquiao?.

Khan has never been outboxed and against boxers Khan does well. Mayweather will beat Khan but it should be more competitive than most of Mayweather's opponents.

How does he deserve it Adam??

By circumventing every top WW? Or by ducking Brook to fight light punching former LWW champ Algieri?

Brook (a genuine WW world champion) Bradley and Thurman all clearly have more justification to a Mayweather fight than Khan.

Khan MAY get the fight... But let's not pretend that he deserves it more than anyone.

    Good point.

Moreover, the fight would have to take place at 5am gmt to satisfy US ppv customers (who are the absolute life blood of such an event).

Add to that the fact that Floyd lives in Vegas (and Vegas would want those high rollers who attend the fight to stay in their hotels and visit their casinos) and you can see why such a fight would never take place in the UK.
