I still remember when Khan lied that the fight had been signed, in order to try and force Floyd into taking it. It was some odd PR stunt that backfired because I recall Floyd loosing all interest after that.

 

It often gets overlooked but Maidana was coming off the best win of his career win he took on Floyd.

Khan had been taking easy fights waiting for a big payday.

 

He had rotator cuff surgery Pimp. There's was backlash for not disclosing it prior the fight. And you think his shoulder was 100%.

 

That is correct.

 

Whenever Floyd fast guys who people think are faster we see when they fight he is faster and quicker.

Enough to throw punches with both arms with power and speed never complaining to his corner about it and raising his arms in the ring after the fight. I've seen fighters with hurt hands shoulders or knees complaining to their corner during the fight and you can clearly see them favoring one hand arm or leg over the other.

 

Floyd ball bag swingers will deny Pac’s shoulder injury the same way they deny Floyd using an IV before the fight. To them Floyd is the almighty bunghole who would’ve beaten everybody no excuses.

 

It's crazy the hoops they'll jump through for Floyd. There were a LOT of flod fans who claimed Pac never got surgery after the fight. That's just weird to me.

 

I think what people always forget about this matchup is that Khan had mediocre boxing skills for an elite fighter, and Floyd had very, very good boxing skills. Easy pick.
