Never realised Floyd got 22 million for fighting Mosley-that's obscene

This is the best news for all concerned, with the exception of GBP and possibly HBO.

The fans get to see more of the fights that we want to see - probably including Mayweather vs Pacquiao..... GBP and HBO get a much needed bolt up the arse and Floyd/King make a shitload of $$$$.

 

I think this pushes Pac-Mayweather back even further.

 

Listen to the latest episode of The Boxing Truth radio podcast and the bloke who wrote the article is getting interviewed about this story and he reckons Mayweather v Pacquiao will happen next year.

I think King will want to make some money on the first couple of fights before he takes the risky "big one".

Then from Kings perspective even his worse case scenario for the 4 fights is 2 money spinning wins, Pac-Mayweather, Pac-Mayweather II.

If Mayweather loses to Pac in fights 1 and 2 then fights 3 and 4 against TBA arn't worth anywhere near as much as they would have been if Mayweather was unbeaten.

 

I think it said on Skysports news on the little boxing update that he made between$35-$40mill for the fight and the ppv and 24/7 package.
