Pretty soon Pac will be just another "bum" on the resume of Mayweather, "cherry-picked" so as to make a big payday and preserve his perfect record. (cause Pac wasn't the same after losing the election) smh
I'm guessing this is a response to my post. Well...you yourself said Hatton wasn't that good. And you seem to be contradicting yourself, though you may have miswrote it, when you say "I don't care if Morales was 100 years old" seemingly crediting Pac yet "I don't care if Gatti was 30 he was 115 in ring years"...ok, what was Morales in "ring years"? I don't consider ODLH a great win for either as he had been fading for a while at that point. Pac's win may have been more spectacular but even then he had him come down to 147, a weight he hadn't fought at in 7 years or so. Oh, and how old is De La Hoya in ring years, eh? How about the recent tendency to fight guys who are just going to stand in front of him? Hatton, Cotto, Clottey... Look, like I said, Floyd deserves criticism for his competition at welterweight for sure and his fight with Marquez was a joke. But fact remains, Floyd is bombarded with criticisms while Pacquiao is praised for "challening himself" and I think it's simply because he's the exciting fighter. Simple as that.
all id like to know is who is that stunner ir your picture?? just come out of hospital after an accident so i did not see anything as sexy as that for a looong time...lol...am tripping..
Pacquiao came up from further down the weight class chain than Floyd, beat three guys that were all better than anyone on Floyd's resume in Morales(x2), Marquez(x2), and Barrera(x2), and since he's come up to Welterweight he's dominated their shared opposition in far more impressive fashion(including Hatton at his best weight) and beaten two of the top five elite Welterweights in the world, while to date Floyd has beaten none. Two of Pacquiao's losses were early in his career due to weight drain, and one was to an all-time great fighter better than anyone Floyd has fought who Pacquiao proceeded to beat twice afterwards. And Floyd has an unofficial loss to Jose Luis Castillo. In other words, Floyd's full of it as usual.
There's good points in here, but quick correction...Pacquiao beat Marquez once, not twice. And secondly, since Floyd has an unofficial loss to Castillo can we take away the win over Marquez for Pacquiao?
I don't think there's any doubt that the majority of big names on Pacquiao's resume had seen better days before he got around to fighting them and that's being generous.
