    I've posted this video in numerous threads but it seems that most people just ignored it. So I'll post it in its own thread so we can begin a discussion.

    Starting at 1:15, Floyd Mayweather says the following: How I weighed my options for this fight. I said: ok, he fought Katsidis and it was a tough fight and Marquez beat Katsidis. And then I said: ok, he fought Casamayor and he went the distance. Casamayor is like 40 years old. So I said: Marquez knocked Casamayor out. The I said: well Floyd, is he a stronger puncher than Cotto? I said no. Is he a better fighter than Cotto? Well we just have to find out. And that's how I weighed my options.

    Here's what I think about this: I think when it comes to us good fellas here at ESB and the money we spend on Mayweather PPVs, we should weigh our options just as carefully as Floyd does before we part with our $60.

    First real cherry pick of his career and very shameful. I said openly there was a terrible fight and he should have tried to fight Alexander or Bradley or another elite fighter instead of this joke.

    Eh, Would catch more heat if there were a bunch of better options but there wasn't. Ghost was a top 3 rated WW and his mandatory.

    Mayweather had a 6 fight deal and he isn't gonna fight Canelo 6 times. As long as Canelo is one of those 6 fights and he fights twice a yr there aren't any complaints.

    So you've made clear you've posted this in multiple threads and nobody gives a ****, why would you think putting it in another thread will make people give more of a ****? Your logic confuses me...

    Could have fought Carlos MOlina at 154, could have called out Trout after the Cotto win, could have did Canelo, could have fought a lot of real fighters but he stole people's money with their guerrero fight and I'm happy Showtime lost on it.

    That is really quite cringey.

    Even if that's your logic and how you choose your opponents, why would you just tell 1 million people that they just paid their hard earned catch to see you fight someone you purposely picked because you knew you'd beat him.

    Yea but he didn't want to fight at 154 when he came home right away. He didn't steal anyone money as he doesn't force anyone to buy his fights. But like I said, he has a 6 fight deal as long as he fights twice a yr and Canelo is one of those fights there is no problem with this fight as Guerrero is a good fighter who will beat many WWs in his future fights. Hopefully he doesn't do anything stupid like move up to Jr WW(Guerrero I mean).
