    Floyd showing proper common sense is all. Davis is 22, and still developing. That fight is at least two or three years off in my opinion. Honestly, I'd like to see Davis beat Walters, Berchelt, or Sosa, to see what he really has.

    The only part of that I don't like is I hate treating a title holder like a prospect. He's a champ, and it's fair to assume a world champ is game to fight anyone else in the division.

    Taking that out of the equation, there's nothing wrong with admitting hes not ready. Neither is anyone else at that weight lol. There's plenty of good fights out there for Davis without Loma.

    When Floyd was Davis's age he was fighting Manfredy after beating Genero Hernandez and was calling out Gatti and Hamed, and even Oscar.

    Two different situations. Gonzalez had miles on him already, and was in a smaller weight class. Inoue wasn't saying he would move down and fight him, he wanted the already bloated Gonazlez to move up to his weight class. Now that they are in the same weight class. Gonzalez is ducking, citing money. Floyd is steering Davis properly. As I stated, the kid is still learning. Not in his prime. A guy like Inoue can step up right now, because his weight division is less talented. You don't see Inoue asking to fight Rigondeaux at 118 though.

    Because that doesnt favor floyd or his fighter. Yet floyd keeps riding the canelo win to better his terrible resume. That being said imo if you da champ you fight the best or give up the belt.
