    Mayweather 150
    Maidana 158

Looks like Maidana is looking to come in a little lighter this time.

    Great weight for Floyd
    Good weight for Marcos

    This should be a classic!

Floyd is really just a blown up Super-light weight and has been for years. Apart from a few, he's spent his whole career fighting bigger guys...and he gets criticised for not fighting GGG or Martinez AT 160 !

    Yep:good

I have seen him on several occasions. I would say more so a blown up Super Lightweight (140lber) more son than a blown up lightweight, but point made.

This guy walks around @ 150lbs and when he fights above 147lbs, he actually dehydrates after weighing and comes into the fight as a welterweight against guys weighing over 160lbs.

If this was true he would have made his catchweight against Marquez. Instead he chose to pay Marquez a large some of money.

floyd is a full fledged welterweight who doesnt let his weight balloon up in between fights... how fvckin hard is that to understand?

Most "full fledged" welterweight weigh about 155-150 ripped and in shape.

    Its not about ballooning up.

Its about guys who are naturally much bigger dehydrating and cutting to weigh 147 for about 10 minutes before going back up to their true weights

In the ye olde days Floyd had been either a welter or even middleweight.
Most then were able to cut just a few lbs before fights in comparison to their walk around weight.

and how does what most welters weigh have anything to do with floyd not being able to get down to 140? you think floyd gave away $600K because he didnt want to work off 2lbs in 3 months?

PBF walks around at no more than 155. Most light weights walk around at that weight. No welters walk around at 155 maybe Pac does or JMM but that's about it.

Pretty sure theres LW's like Crawford who easily walk around at 155, probably more

Wouldnt even be shocked if Salido walked around at 155 ish

Then why do guys like Maidana gain damn near 20 pounds on fight night? PBF is not a big WW. Pretty much every fighter at 140 weighs more than PBF does on fight night while he's fighting at 147.:deal

Exactly Broner did as well when he fought at 135 and Rios did to when he was there.

again, wth does other fighters weights have anything to do with how far down in weight floyd can get to?
if you want to make comparisons fine, but dont claim floyd can fight at 140 or 135 when its obvious he cant make that weight. floyd is a welterweight because he is too big to fight any lower...period.

I think fighters typically walk around what they rehydrate to, sometimes more. So I think Floyd walks around at 150-155, when he was "retired" in 2008 he weighed 159.
