He is a full sized welter, who in the division is that much bigger than him?

So that means he's cutting 20 pounds to fight at 147 and puts it all back on the next day? If you weighed Floyd right now I would guess he's around 154...

You're ignoring the fact that most of Floyd's fights, he shows his fight night weight.. I don't know you figure discussing a fighters weight constitutes at "nut hugging" but whatever bro.. I'm not up on the new slang that the kids spew these days...

No cause that would make him 167 pounds, which is higher than I said.

Mayweather fight night weight 148 - as in the weight he himself chose to decide to tell people he weighed in as? You know since he never does official fight night weights

its plain to see floyd tries to portray himself as smaller then he really is there is a reason why he never revealed his fight night weight against marquez he looked like a fully fledged middleweight must of weighed over 160 pounds

Cotto was thicker, Madaina is bigger, Hearns was huge next to him, Margarito and Paul Williams, Cintron, Algieri, etc. The welters of the 80s would have dwarfed him.

When I ran into him when he was fighting at 140, I was 128 pounds and I thought, geez, this guy looks like a light weight and not any bigger than me. I have fought bigger guys than him who can make 140 lbs (though they are young when they make that weight). He is neither tall nor thick framed. Maybe he put on a little thickness since then, but he isn't a big guy by any stretch, and ex 140 lbers like Ortiz look bigger than him in terms of structure.

Both Pacquiao and mayweather could fight at light welterweight but the bigger fights brought them to the higher division. Floyd just can't be ****d to boil down in weight and who can blame him, it's awful, but just like pacquiao, they have the skill to cope against the bigger guys.
