    Mayweather threw 426 punches and landed 230 @ 53%...... Maidana threw 858 punches and landed 221 @25%..... That's 432 more punches thrown from Maidana than Floyd....However, Floyd still landed 9 more punches:admin.MEN lie,Women lie,Numbers don't.

Those stats proves he lost. Do you really think 9 extra punches landed out of 221 offsets 431 extra punches thrown? This isn't the amateurs, you score by damage and 20 punches landed on arms, shoulders, partially blocked does more damage than 1 clean jab to the body.

Had it 115-113 to Floyd but going strictly by those numbers, Floyd lost.

Why so much hate in your blood ? BTW the % of the world that thinks he won, is higher than the % Marcos landed.

Do I have to keep educating these fools on how to score fights? Here's an example:

    Round 1 - Fighter 1 (10 punches), Fighter 2 (20 punches)
    Round 2 - Fighter 1 (10 punches), Fighter 2 (20 punches)
    Round 3 - Fighter 1 (50 punches), Fighter 2 (10 punches)
    Round 4 - Fighter 1 (10 punches), Fighter 2 (20 punches)

    Fighter 1 total = 80
    Fighter 2 total = 70

Fighter 2 wins the fight, despite landing 10 less punches. It's not about how many punches you land, it's about how many rounds you win.

Punchstats are often erroneous and they were here. Mayweather did not land more than half his punches, not even close!

Pacquiao out-compuboxed Marquez in their third fight both holistically and round-by-round.
