So if you think Pac vs Cotto was a more even fight then shouldn't it have drawn more interest than Mayweather vs Mosley if they are even attractions? Going off the logic that Mayweather drew more with DLH as the fight because it was thought to be a closer fight beforehand?

Unless of course you think Mosley is a bigger draw than Cotto?

pac actually gave 3 proposals to floyd but floyd is the stubborn one. it was reported on the news. maybe floyd is really pricing himself out of this fight.

    Here's how it works simply.

If floyd doesn't fight pac, even at 50/50, the entire sport loses millions and millions of dollars. Pacs biggest payday ever? vs floyd.
Floyds biggest payday ever? vs pac.
Biggest possible ppv fight ever? floyd vs pac.

They are all equally responsible for the necessity of this fight.

The math has been done 3 million times by all pacquaio's fans.
I'm not looking for it all again. Ask caneman and a couple others.

Hard to say but he drew just short of that against Hatton who was hardly a draw in America at a time when he (Floyd) was arguably less of an attraction than he is now.

So I'd say any competitive fight with a credible opponent could get somewhere close.

Okay, now what is your honest expectation for pac vs floyd ppv?

Say even martinez/may would do a million, how much more would pac floyd do?

I think it would do 2.3-2.5 million ppv.

So what you're saying is Mayweather is selling these fights by playing the bad guy, nobody is disputing that and I did like your likening him selling the good guy vs bad guy to Ric Flair which you made the other day.

However you think he's doing it you're still acknowledging that he is the one drawing in the fans.

Yes, but had ric flair fought hulk hogan in both of their primes it would have been an equal shut out in fan interest.

I would liken this to that match up.
Like hogan vs flair in 88.

Yeah, I figure a little over 2, but wouldn't be shocked by a 2.5 or something. But the money to be made off of that? I could see floyd making upwards of 70 million or something even at 50-50 with his stock in ppv sales and merchandising.

He won't even break 30 million in another 1mil ppv fight.

In fact, a lot of fans keep getting turned off to watching floyd fights because he is being too dominant lately. People want unexpected drama, and it's turning out that pac might be their last hope to see floyd in his prime taken to task.

The difference is that Flair was never as big as Hogan as a stand alone guy, you didn't see Flair vs Randy Savage being anywhere near as big as Hogan vs Sgt Slaughter.

(I feel embarrassed writing this **** btw)
