Where did I say if you lose you can't fight Mayweather?, Marquez has a loss against Pacquiao yet he's fighting Mayweather. My point is that this fight isn't as bad as fighting any of these other guys and to promote a future fight with Pac this one is the best especially after 2 years off. Marquez is planning to move up for Pacquiao ANYWAY and the best way to secure it is to win this one since the majority prefer a fight with Mayweather.

 

This calling out stuff is nonsense. He wouldn't fight Paul Williams no matter what Paul Williams said.

But for what you've said....if ANY WW was fighting a guy who was a LW the fight before, P4P or not (that's all fanboy BS BTW), I would be critical. And so should you. I will concede, it DOES depend on the LW though. It's one thing to move up ONE division to fight a guy, but TWO? That's another thing. Especially at the age of 35. Marquez' caliber as a champion and great fighter has been vs. guys HIS size. Keep that into consideration. Would it be a huge win for Paul Williams to beat someone of Marquez' caliber too? Would that be a great win even if they fought and Williams won at 147?

And if Floyd needed a tune yup, why, as dip**** Eze claims, did he ask for 20 mill to fight Mosley right off the bat? Doesn't sound like a tune up was needed, just a big ass check.

I wasn't wild about Hopkins and Pavlik @ 170 either. I don't think it's exactly indicative of Hopkins' actual ability. I think it was a great performance, but it was a great performance vs. a guy campagning and looking great 10 pounds south.

I don't mince words, and I don't bull****...even if it was my faves. If Margarito fought and beat Marquez, I wouldn't give it much weight either. Same witrh Sugar Shane. Him vs. Marquez at 147 is a ****in mismatch... But in his attempts for Pac, at least Pac has shown he can comete at 140 and slightly above. Marquez DID look good in his two wins @ 135. but he's at his most hittable in his career. But I have to crash...early flight in the AM.. Take it easy...

When Margs lost, that is when he truly started dissing Floyd. He didn't start to exlax on Floyd really until Floyd came back to the sport. Trust me, I'm not going to say that if I wasn't around to see you back these things up. When he was rumored to be going to Welterweight for Judah's undisputed titles because the Hatton fight didn't happen you were one of the people that claimed he MIGHT find a way to twist his self out of it seeing as the majority were anti-Mayweather back then and you were one of them fresh off the Vivian Harris bandwagon.

I'm not saying you are a fan of those guys, that's none of my concern. My point is that whoever is rumored to be fighting him or he's not really paying much attention to that person gets the spotlight by default to carry on the hate and meaningless criticism.

About the DLH fight even though a lot of us brought it up there were many that also said "No one forced Mayweather to take it!" and I remember you were one of those too.

My "attacks" are based on boxing discussions, you don't see me calling you a "crap poster", "Freddy Wak Jr.". When I call you a hater I say so based on proof even a BLIND man browsing this forum would see. This hasn't started today, your criticism goes back and it's all in the same flavor but different bandwagons to hang on to.

Please don't make Mayweather/Williams look like Mayweather/Marquez, the size difference isn't even CLOSE there. Marquez might be smaller but he won't look like a midget in there either, even when the fight was announced and he's not at the weight limit he's supposed to the size difference wasn't that big. Wasn't Margarito calling out Mayweather even before he made 147?, back when he was even more unknown and no one gave a crap. The size difference there is 100% fair but the one with Marquez isn't to you?, please dont' tell me the size difference between Mayweather/Margarito can be compared with Mayweather/Marquez because even the size difference there isn't any close at all, but Margarito is a beast full of pride for calling out guys half his size, huh?

Let me tell you this, Marquez wasn't forced to take this fight. Somehow you make it look like Marquez is forced and has no other choice. It's Marquez who called for this fight and got it considering he's #2 P4P officially and already PLANNING to move up for Pacquiao whether it's against Mayweather or not it IS in plan in order to secure a third fight with Pac. The Mayweather fight just makes things easier for both on who to get the Pacquiao fight without adding complication. If you can't see through that then I really don't know what to tell, this is beyond easy to see if you WANT to. If not then hating theories might do you better I guess.

The Marquez fight might look like tune-up quality but it's more difficult than that, it's just that haters make it look like it's a tune-up to downgrade a possible/predictable victory. So I won't really consider that a tune-up, I would actually go far enough to compare it with a fight with Mosley, both are close in my view as far as being risky and dangerous.

Mosley moved up two weight divisions to make the first DLH fight, Pac moved up two weight divisions to make the DLH fight and I can give you examples all day. This isn't the first time in history of boxing that an elite fighter moves up multiple weight divisions to meet another elite fighter. It's not "unfair" either, these fighters make the decisions themselves, they're not forced to do so.

Margarito/Marquez size difference is totally different so please don't compare nor HINT at it. Margarito made Mosley look like a midget for crying out loud, the same Mosley that looks slightly bigger than Mayweather.

Most hittable or not, fact is you're only assuming and that's all you can get to, there are zero facts to prove that this is a mismatch or any close to it. Pac vs DLH was looked as a mismatch too, remember what you used to say about that one?

The media corner fighters to call others, especially retired ones. Who was the one officially contacting them for a fight?, Marquez. Do you also know that they officially tried to contact Mosley and were turned down when Pac/Hatton was already announced?

You expected him to come out of retirement and sign to fight all of them on the same night?, he already made it clear to you and the likes of you that he signed a FIVE fight deal, so complain till you **** bricks for all I care the man can fight one at a time.
