You just made an excellent point, I would love to see how Floydettes act after he receives his 1st loss especially if he gets his ass knocked out.

The question is if or when Floyd Fights Pac and if he wins then all of us or the majority will be looking at who his next opponent will be. This is when we will see just how much of a Fraud Floyd is.

If he chooses to fight the top welters then all the respect goes to him just for making those fights happen.

So we will need to just watch this space. Boxing is becoming a soap opera we just dont know what is going to happen next. Watch this space...

 

Yawn. The point isn't moot at all, I wasn't attaching any importance to this hypothetical fight specifically, I was simply making a point that big name fighters can make more money by casting aside weight divisions etc and facing each other, rather than fighting the best in their own weight classes - fights which may be less glamorous/high-profile, but would undoubtedly be more evenly-matched and more meaningful fights. But since you seem in a rather dismissive mood today, I've lost interest in any further comment on this bitchfest of a thread.

Oh, and Marquez and Cotto would definitely have made far more money fighting each other than fighting Diaz and Clottey respectively.

 

Dude Pac CAN demand the mother****ing sky right now and he deserves it because of the kind of fights he has given US the fans lately. Please dont tell me that you think PBF deserves more than Pac if they ever do fight? That would be like saying Tito deserves more than Hopkins in their rematch and not even ME a Tito nuthugger can say that.....

 

Hasnt fought anyone good lately? So DLH and Hatton are tomato cans now? I see, so that makes Pac last 3 opponents tomato cans also, so he hasnt been fighting good comp either. Jmm the #2 p4p is garbage also so that makes Pac last 4 opponents trash too, lets add in a shot MAB and pac hasnt fought anyone with a pulse in a while.

If the JMM fight is easy it isnt because floyd is bigger than him it will be because floyd is the superior fighter. If this was a 135 pd floyd vs JMM, jmm would suffer the same fate. Probably worst.

 

Lots of fighters have called him out but he only takes it personall when its someone smaller calling him out.

Mayweather isn't here to show you legacy, he's here for big money fights and I'm telling you that direct. The legacy part was crossed long ago and if you don't know about it then that's your problem.

 

lol wow, people on here seem 2 lose sleep over floyd. This is ridiculous. FLoyd makes soem valid points in his interview. Im lookin 4ward 2 the fight nuff said. All that other stuff is irrelevant at this point.

 

If it was all Hatton and you with your outstanding superhero powers knew who the Mayweather fans are in the crowd then care to explain why we haven't seen a similar weigh-in when Hatton fought Maussa/Urango/Castillo and others?
